it is a house in local stone, not overlooked, independent without being totally isolated, in a rural, calm and green setting. It is reached by a path which then goes into the forest; You have a perfectly maintained garden of 1000m2 in front of the house, not fenced (but the path is not very passenger).
The house is well exposed and bright at all hours of the day.
It is spacious and comfortable, has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people.
you can access it by choice of the kitchen, or the living room arranged around the fireplace (where you will enjoy a little surge in the autumn or early spring evenings).
A staircase leads to the 3 bedrooms.
You will enjoy the outdoor terrace, flowered and shaded, meals and naps under the arbor, and the view of the countryside and the surrounding woods.

Peaceful Location

Lovely gite in a quiet rural location but close to major sites and 5 minutes away from the beautiful town of Sarlat. Michel was very welcoming and helpful.

A quiet, comfortable cottage.

The cottage was well-appointed, clean and cosy. We enjoyed the log fire and the supply of wood. The situation was private and quiet, surrounded by woodland. Our host was pleasant and very helpful with local knowledge. Well recommended

Quiet country retreat in the heart of Perigord Noir

We found the property as described and very much liked its quietness. On the other hand due to it being in the heart of Perigord Noir the principal attractions were in short car driving distance. Finally, the owner was available for any questions. It was really lovely holidays.

Starry nights

The home is on the owners’ property, a convenient car ride away from downtown Sarlat and many sites along the Dordogne River. We had privacy to enjoy the wildflowers and lush landscape. The home is well appointed and comfortable. The linens were lovely and we slept well each night. Michel and Marie were most helpful and gracious. We loved our visit.

Welch herrlicher Flecken Erde! Wir waren haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt in diesem gemütlichen Häuschen inmitten diesem wunderbar ruhigen Garten. Insbesondere des Vermieters zuvorkommende, mitdenkende Art machte uns den Kurzaufenthalt einfach unkompliziert. Die Ausstattung lies keine unserer Wünsche offen. Zum Einkaufen ist man flott in 3 km gefahren. Informationen über die Gegend waren auch in Englisch vorhanden.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in dem Häuschen verbracht. Es ist für die Erkundung der Dordogne-Region zentral gelegen, mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und eine nach Westen ausgerichteten Terrasse, von der aus man jeden Abend die schönen Sonnenuntergänge verfolgen kann. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft wirlich empfehlen.Martin und Renate

Zwei Wochen im Herzen des Perigord noir

Wir hatten zwei schöne Wochen imFrühling in dem rustikalen Charakterhäuschen. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und gleichzeitig gibt es absolut ruhige Tage und Nächte. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Maravilloso

La casa una maravilla con todo lo necesario. Una chimenea con leña suficiente que nos permitió no usar casi nada la calefacción. La casa está situada en una zona muy tranquila con lo cual está garantizado el silencio para dormir. Además se encuentra a tan solo 5 minutos en coche de Sarlat y del centro comercial más cercano. Los dueños son muy discretos pero sabes que los tienes cerca en caso necesario, lo cual da mucha tranquilidad, y son ideales para tener una estancia agradable y como si estuviéramos en nuestra casa.

L’accueil a été très chaleureux dans cette maison au style cottage très bien décorée et avec tout ce qu’il faut ! La proximité de tous les sites touristiques est un véritable atout !
