portpatrick retreat

Beautifully presented Coachmans Cottage with all amenities tucked away with a number of other cottages on The Dunskey Estate. Fantastic grounds with walks, lochs and a variety of activities offered within walking distance of picturesque Port Patrick. Excellent meals available from the estate and in Port Patrick. Breakfast included means a very substantial breakfast package on your arrival.

Wonderful

We stayed in Harriet’s Lodestar, a modern very well equipped lodge on the edge of the estate. It was very peaceful with our own private jetty by the upper loch! Loads to do, we went on a number of walks locally as well as further afield. PortPatrick is lovely and a hilltop walk away. Feel fully rested and will revisit this wonderful part of Scotland.

BEYOND SPLENDOR AND THE REASON WHY

There are many splendid places to stay in the world. Dunskey Estate has a rare kind of splendor because its owners Ali and Anne Orr Ewing are rare in their approach to hospitality. They begin by wanting and providing the highest and best for the historic estate and its 2,000 acres of stunning beauty. Next, they put into place all that is highest and best for their staff/team. This translates into a guest experience that surpassess every expectation because what is done for you at every turn of your stay, comes from the heart. I will be back again and again.
