A sensitively designed and well finished property in a prime position in a beautiful seaside village overlooking the harbour, little sandy beach and promenade.The apartment offers stylish, comfortable accomodation on two floors for a romantic getaway for two people. The bedroom, with en-suite shower and dressing room is on the lower level and the upper floor is accessed by a spiral staircase from the dining area.There are outside doors on both levels to the free car parks just outside

I was born in Portpatrick and returned after college and some work experience to set up a pottery workshop with my partner, which we ran for about 10 years. This developed into a a retail craft shop, selling quality craft goods from around the world. I developed the Lighthouse apartment from a store office and workshop just a few yards from my current shop and flat, so am available on site if any problems occur or information is required. Obviously I know Dumfries and Galloway intimately and can offer information and knowledge of the area to our guests.
Why they chose this property
I built this property in 1993 as part of my business. I love the area and have lived here virtually for the whole of my working life. It is a quiet and peaceful part of Scotland and not yet fully appreciated. It has much to offer and very beautiful.
Portpatrick is ideal for walking, golfing as well as a centre for wider reaching sightseeing tours - including Belfast (Titanic), the Galloway hills and world famous gardens, historic castles and our local distillery.
