Lane Foot Barn is set in a quiet village location which is less than a mile from a village pub and restaurant, and it gives you a great base to enjoy your holiday.
This barn conversion, with its unusual layout, makes the most of the fell views from the large windows and a balcony at the rear. New to the market for 2020, Lane Foot Barn offers a comfortable and well-equipped property for your next Cumbrian adventure. The ground floor features a kitchen/dining room and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Upstairs you’ll find another double bedroom, a kids den with twin beds (for children up to 12 years) which adds a fun element to the little ones’ holiday, and a family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. The living room features amazing beams that add character and charm to this delightful property. At the rear you’ll find an enclosed garden with patio and seating, ideal for your morning coffee, and to soak up the sunshine.
Situated in the picturesque village of Pardshaw, you are within touching distance of the National Park and you get the best of both worlds. Easy access to fantastic walks, beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes, as well as being just a few miles from the vibrant market town of Cockermouth, with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions.
Why not visit Wordsworth House for a spot of culture, or maybe Jennings Brewery beneath the castle walls, offering tasting tours? Kirkgate Arts provides a cinema and theatre performances. If you love The Lakes you are within easy reach of Loweswater, with connections to Crummock Water and Buttermere, arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Cumbria for breath-taking scenery. Whether you’re looking for rugged adventure or just a peaceful walk taking in the flora and fauna, you have a beautiful area to explore. If you’re looking for family fun, then a great day out can be had at the Lake District Wildlife Park with over 100 species of animals at Bassenthwaite, 11 miles away. Excellent accommodation in a great location..
Well converted barn. We loved the views, particularly from the balcony. This has a comfortable spacious lounge w plenty of seating. Kitchen well stocked w cooking pots, pans and utensils. Only issue couldn't get Wi-Fi to work :(
