Brand new cabinets, granite counter tops in all the baths and kitchen. The patio is stamped concrete located outside of the kitchen, sun-room and master bedroom. All windows look to River views and lush garden areas.
Huge lawn for family lawn sports. Large driveway for large vehicle parking including RV's and Motor-homes. Carport covered parking.
I take great pride in my decorating! The interior colors are warm and inviting. The furnishings are comfortable and stylish. A home away from home, even better!
Outdoor dining area, BBQ and fire pit! Plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy your glass of wine and the beautiful sunset.
An abundance of wildlife to enjoy. A large variety of birds, river otters, deer, our bald eagle, salmon jumping, turkeys and trout fishing.

Todd and Shannon Giles are the owners of the 'River House' vacation rental. We live next door to the property, with our two kids, 1 dog and two cats. This is a family that loves where we live and would like others to enjoy the beautiful setting on the Sacramento River. We enjoy gardening and entertaining in our spare time. We both work full time in the insurance industry in Redding. We both grew up in the area and have fallen in love with Shasta Lake, the Sacramento River and everything this small community has to offer. We welcome you to stay at the 'River House'.

Why they chose this property

We have lived in our house for over 15 years now. We have rented vacation rentals in the cottages on our property for 9 years. It has been a wonderful experience. The opportunity came 2 years ago to purchase the house next door. Todd and I love this stretch of the Sacramento River. We felt a larger house for families vacationing would be exciting. We also felt the need for an upscale home on the Sacramento River. Our friends and family encouraged us to complete this project and we are excited to finally offer this gem of a vacation destination. This property has been listed with VRBO for 5 years, however a virus forced us to re create our property listing. We are established with vacation rentals and provide the best customer experience!

I can't say it enough....RIVER RIVER RIVER VIEWS!!!! AMAZING. You will be in awe of the views. Peaceful! You can completely unwind from the everyday hussle and bustle in this amazing home!

I have some special furnishings that you will just sink into enojoy the whole experience.
