GORGEOUS, FAMILY FRIENDLY, JUST STEPS TO SUN AND FUN!!!

We are beach side in Saida II, right off the causeway at 400 Padre Blvd., in the building closest to the beach. Parking is just steps from the front door. If, location, security and choice of activities is important to you read on. Saida is a gated resort of 5 buildings, 3 swimming pools, each with chaise lounges and thatched palapas for shade, a seasonal pool bar and grill, 3 hot tubs, 4 tennis courts and shuffleboard. And, of course, the beautiful beach of SPI is just steps away, where you can sit, relax, read, walk, jog, surf, fish, para-sail, ride a banana boat, and/or enjoy a cool beverage. Of course, just a short drive or walk to the other side of the island you'll find the bay of Laguna Madre for sailing, world class bay fishing, and renowned Texas sunsets.

We are located in the building closest to the beach, on the bottom floor and on a corner. There are no elevators and no stairs to worry about. You can walk out the back door onto the extra large porch and be 25 yards from the pool, tennis courts, and gate to the beach; let the kids run amok right in front of you on the grass while you relax, barbecue (only allowed on ground floor units), or eat alfresco while enjoying the view and the gulf breeze.

Our unit is inviting and comfortably accommodates 8 people. The open living area with its two long leather and fabric sofas and two large lounging chairs sit in front of a 60" LCD TV with cable, sound bar and music player. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, pots and pans, utensils, glassware, dishware, bake ware, serving ware and coffee pot. A wine and soft drink refrigerator sits under the granite island. 4 stools sit at the counter for quick meals, along with a dining table with 8 chairs.

There are three bedrooms and two full baths with granite counter tops. The master has a king size bed; bedroom 2 has a bunk bed (double on bottom and twin on top) with chaise chair; and the third bedroom has a queen and single. For those wishing to take that well deserved siesta, or a place for the kids to watch what they want to watch, all bedrooms are provided with a 32" LCD TV and full cable. The master bathroom is easily accessed by both the master and bedroom-2. Each side has a vanity with counter and cabinet space for storing toiletries, etc. The walk-in shower and toilet are in the middle. The central bathroom is used by guests and bedroom-3; it has a single vanity with walk in shower. In case you forget your own, each bathroom is provided with shampoo, soaps, towels and hair dryers. There is an iron and board provided, and the washer/dryer is located just outside the front door.

The seating area on the porch is quite comfortable. There is also a barbecue pit for those wishing to cook outdoors. Also available are our embroidered beach towels.
