Nestled in nature, on the grounds of a certified organic farm, in a charming, unspoiled agricultural setting, Agriturismo Il Girasole is ideal for those seeking a peaceful holiday with a touch of the past.
The property is located in Arcevia and is a carefully restored 17th-century stone farmhouse. The nine castles are one of the main attractions of the Arcevia area: these are walled settlements dating from the 14th and 15th centuries that have preserved their distinctive architectural features to this day.
The Santa Maria apartment, cosy and spacious (approximately 90 square metres), can accommodate up to 6 people and consists of a large living room that retains the farmhouse’s original exposed beams, a well-equipped kitchenette complete with an electric oven; a hallway leading to two spacious double bedrooms, each with a third bed, separated by a bathroom featuring a shower and bathtub, and a hair dryer. The apartment is equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities.
The surrounding area is rich in history (with traces left by the Senones, Romans, Lombards, Byzantines, and Franks, as well as the enlightened patronage of the Renaissance city-states and the centuries-long presence of the Church of Rome) offers a variety of experiences in archaeology, art, architecture, music, nature, and sports…… all just a few kilometres from our property.
For climbing enthusiasts, just a few kilometres from the agritourism, you’ll find the Frasassi and Rossa Gorges, where there are more than five cliffs featuring numerous single-pitch or multi-pitch routes—both bolted and alpine-style—at various levels of difficulty.
