Mews Hill Fordingbridge
Mews Hill is a bright and spacious holiday home. The kitchen is fully equipped with a larder Fridge Freezer, TV, double oven, induction hob, dishwasher etc and there is also seating for 12 in the breakfast area. A separate utility room with washing machine and drier leads off the hallway. The large lounge dining room leads to a conservatory and the perfect place to soak up the morning sun. This leads out to a patio area with garden seating for 12 plus a barbecue. The table in the lounge/ dining room can be extended to seat 24 if you were to also book the other properties.
It has 2 good sized double bedrooms on the ground floor. The master bedroom has patio doors out to the garden and an ensuite wet room. The family bathroom on the ground floor has a bath tub as well as a walk in shower and there is also a cloakroom. Upstairs there are 3 further bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, one with en-suite and a family room with king size bed and single bed. All bedrooms have TV's.
There is a substantial double games garage which has a table tennis table and an adult table football table. Within the garden, there is a large trampoline, a full-size climbing frame for children of all ages to enjoy, a barbeque and seating for up to 11 oi one of the patio areas. There is also a separate copse for picnics; a great place for the children to safely explore, dogs to run free, as well as a lovely space to sit awhile.
Mews Hill offers an adjoining 2-acre paddock and stabling for two ponies or small horses on a DIY basis at £100 per horse per week. There is an adjoining bridleway giving access to an extensive network of bridleways throughout the National Park.
Exclusive fishing on the Hampshire Avon can also be yours and is available in the fishing season with 4 swims available. Costs are £75 per person per week.
Mews Hill has a glamping Hut available to book as additional accommodation with the house only (additional costs apply). This sleeps a further 2 people.
Mews Hill can also be booked with Criddlestyle Cottage (Sleeps 10) and/or the Riverside Lodge (sleep 4), all of which are separate and set within their own grounds but together they can sleep 25. With the glamping hut at Mews Hill, this affords sleeping for up to 27 and with the Glamping Pod at Riverside Lodge (if the lodge is also booked) sleeping for up to 29 people. We give a 5% discount for multiple bookings.
There is the possibility of also having additional sleeping accommodation by hiring our 1979 VW Camper ‘Jessica' which can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 small children in bunks within the elevated roof (only available in the summer months) at £325.

A good family sized house in a good location. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, the only downside was a very small oven which was not really big enough when cooking for 11. A very enjoyable weekend, even the cold and wet weather could not spoil it.
