Perfect Purple Palace Folly Vacation Apt C

Have fun watching Folly go by from the large private balcony; settle in with a drink on the cozy outdoor sofa and enjoy the sights and sounds of our beloved hippie surfer beach town we refer to as the “Edge of America”

Inside each apartment you'll find luxurious furnishings, including a comfy leather queen size pull out sofa for added sleeping space, a flat screen TV and cool vintage artwork to play up our hipster vibe. The open floor plan invites use of the well equipped kitchen with custom cabinets, all new appliances and generous granite counter space, uniting the banquette and living area to make preparing meals and dining in enjoyable. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and has a cleanable filter, and a disposable paper filter can be used if desired. Both bedrooms have a king sized bed with quality linens, bedside furniture with adequate reading light, a flat-screen TV and custom furniture cabinetry.
Outside, the live oaks and magnolias shade the back parking area reserved for you to park one vehicle. You'll be just a short walk away from Folly River Park and Folly Pier, where you can fish, crab, catch a meal or shag-dance with locals. Each apartment has a beach cart and two chairs available to use when you're ready to head to the beach.

We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee per dog: $125 up to three nights, $150 for four to six nights, and $250 for seven or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed.

PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION OF THIS APARTMENT IS ON THE 3RD FLOOR AND IS IN THE MIX OF COMMERCIAL CENTER STREET ACTIVITY, YOU WILL HEAR THE NOISE. There is not an elevator. There is a load/unload parking area beside the building. Reserved parking is one street behind the load and unload zone and is a 2-3 minute walk to the building.

Our stay here was fantastic! Easy check-in instructions and excellent, quick communication with the host. The location is perfect! We walked everywhere while in Folly Beach due to the great location of the place. It was big, comfortable, clean, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. We will definitely stay here again.

The location is great and it is nice to be on top of nice little restaurant bar. Noise was never an issue as I know might concern some. What bothered me was I considered this premium priced and it just didn't live up to that. Check-in was generally okay except I was not able to fit into the assigned parking spot because of a large Toyota Sequoia taking up two spaces. I called the rental company and they found me a spot so no harm no foul. The next morning we got up and went to make some breakfast and there was no cooking oil/spray in the house. After looking everywhere the only thing the house did have was pepper and no salt. The description says fully equipped kitchen so just assumed the basics would be included. I did call once more and the rental company actually laughed at me when I asked about it and told them most VRBOs have simple items like cooking spray or oil. Either way next up was a beach day. We got everyone ready and I realized I didn't see any beach towels. I thought for sure (again for the price and given we are at the beach) the property would have towels. Well after another confirmatory call it didn't. One last thing that struck me as strange - no vacuum cleaner. We have little kids so are constantly cleaning and there was nothing available to keep the place tidy. Nothing to clean countertops, floors, nothing. Overall great location and clean but I wouldn't stay again.

We are happy you enjoyed the great location. We offer a clear description of home with many up-to-date photos. All of our homes, townhomes, and apartments have a full kitchen and have all basic cookware and utensils needed to cook family meals at the home, including pots and pans, measuring and cooking utensils, cutting boards, cooking and casserole dishes, and tableware. We make it clear that we do not provide food items, oils, perishables, or condiments in the description of the home. While we do provide linens and many towels, we do not provide beach towels. We do provide beach chairs and a beach tow cart. We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, and conditioning shampoo and shower gel.  Items like vacuum cleaners are available upon request. Thank you for staying with us.

Lovely Trip and this place made it much better!

Property was very accommodating and we found ourselves sitting out on the balcony every morning and night to chat, eat, or play games! Everything worked amazingly and this was our second time staying here, hoping to keep up a new traditional of coming back every year!

A perfect place to unwind when visiting Folly Beach. Very roomy and clean condo with an incredible balcony located in the heart of Folly. The eclectic vibe instantly makes you relax. Great place to stay!

What are the best tips ever to Folly Beach? This condo is so comfortable and so close to everything. The area is great so convenient huge deck off the back of the property. There’s a bar downstairs. It’s a very chill very comfortable bar that has food. The condo is spacious. The TV is easy to operate and the beach is just three blocks away. You can’t stay at a better place!

Great location! Very clean! Roomy and comfortable!

We loved this rental. The location was great, walked to everything we did. The apartment was very clean and bigger than we expected. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, the bath linens were plentiful and the overall feel was very comfortable. Everything was as described and we were very pleased!

Fantastic location

We loved having the low life bar under us! We have been coming to folly for years. That place has amazing food. We loved how close it was to center street. This place is super well thought out with all the little details.

We had a great time at Folly. The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The condo is in a perfect location, We were able to walk every where we wanted to go. They supplied a cart with beach chairs as well. This made the trip perfect!

Such a cute place!

We were so happy with our stay. We loved that we were able to walk to all of the restaurants and the beach. We didn't move our car once the entire weekend. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and living room for everyone to sit. Perfect place for a girls weekend. We'll be back!

Great Unit

Great unit, great location, clean and up to date. Bed was super comfy. Favorite thing was the porch! Only suggestion would be to add a cooler and a couple of beach cups for guests that fly in. The beach chairs and cart were greatly appreciated. Will be back for sure. Forever Salty!

Thank you for your review. We have updated our description to specifically state there is no elevator and that each room has reserved parking, which is a 2-3 minute walk from the building. The rooms are on the second and third floors, and the stairwell can be seen in the listing photos, but we are sorry if this was not clear when you booked your reservation. Being a barrier island and close to the ocean, it is not common for buildings to have elevators. We are glad that you enjoyed the apartment! We have many homes that are single-level and do not have stairs, and would love to welcome you back to Folly Beach again.
