About this property

This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is on a direct beach access road. You will be close to shops and restaurants, but still just a quick trip down to the sand! Enjoy the partial beach views from the two levels of deck, and sip your morning coffee with the sound of the waves.

The spacious living/dining/kitchen area features plush furniture, a large television, and seating for the whole family. There are tables for snacking or dining, as well as a perfect table for family game nights. Other amenities include an on-site washer and dryer, and high speed internet for your convenience. You will love the coastal decor and upscale finishes in this recently remodeled beauty!

Pelican Post sleeps 14 comfortably. There is one full bed in primary bedroom, with ensuite bath. Bedroom two features a queen bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 feature two sets of bunk beds each -one is twinXL over queen, and one is twinXL over twinXL.

Downstairs you will find plenty of parking and room to grill (charcoal bbq pit provided), as well as outdoor sand shower that feels perfect after a long fun-filled day at the beach!

No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Simple but efficient

We had what we needed and the location was great. We had a toilet issue upon arrival that was fixed immediately. I’d rent it again.

Not stocked well. Terrible customer service.

Had requested linen service and recieved an email saying everything was taken care of. When we arrived there were no bath towels, kitchen towels, no bath soaps etc. Also the WiFi did not work, only needed to use it one night, but was not working. We stay at a lot of VRBO’s and this was by far the worst one. We stayed two nights and the expensive rate, higher than staying at a high end hotel resort,was totally not worth it.

Fun House for Small Families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a good size for me and my three kids. Layout was good, open concept living/kitchen was spacious. A little awkward to go through one bedroom to get to bathroom. Cleanliness was less than. Found dirty towels in the laundry area, dish mat was not clean. Description said dishwasher, but there was not one, which was fine. Not a whole lot of sheet pans, no measuring cups, little things like this. There were open cabinets with repair items, so it would have been nice to be locked having kids in the house. Overall we enjoyed it and would stay again!

The location is amazing, you can have your morning coffee while enjoying the sunrise over the beach. The house is clean and comfortable, but the pet pen needs cleaning because it has a lot of other dogs excrement. Other than that, yes the house needs a little remodeling but if you're like us that go to enjoy the beach this is an excellent. Can't wait to go back!

It has a view!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was surprised to have the view. It was so peaceful. There are a few things, you have to go through one bedroom to get to the bathroom. The other bedroom has the washer and dryer with a windowed door and no blinds. There is no Wi-Fi. Bring towels, toilet tissue, etc. overall, it was a pleasant stay and exactly as described, with a lovely view from the deck.

Great little cabin

Tiny, but very well laid out cabin. 5th row back, but with nothing but open field on the east side, still had a great view of the beach and gulf with plenty of breeze!

The house was close to the beach & shops.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our only recommendations are that since this is a pet friendly rental that instead of having a broom on hand that they invest in putting a vacuum in this rental to suck up all the pet hair & sand. Also, if they fix the washer machine & added WiFi this would be a perfect little family vacation home. We had a great time staying at the Poquito Mosquito! We would definitely return.

Nice house close to beach

The house provided a nice setting within easy walking distance of a nice section of the beach. My wife and I would have preferred firmer matresses, but that is a personal preference.
