We spent our honeymoon at the tree villa and it was perfect !! Such amazing views, easy to get around, and of course we enjoyed the pool after our days adventures ! Highly recommend the nearby Christos taverna as well! George is a great host who sent us links to nearby sights. Sad to leave!

Giorgos has made lots of upgrades to the outdoor area, which is beautiful. Very enjoyable place to stay overall !

Ein Träumchen bei Rethymno

Die Bilder des Inserats stimmen komplett überein. Es hat nichts gefehlt und Georg war ein toller Gastgeber. Auch wenn er sich gewundert hat, dass wir uns nicht so oft gemeldet haben. Warum auch. Alles in allem: kommen wir gern wieder und wünschen dem Eigentümer unkomplizierte Gäste - so wie es der Eigentümer ist.

Perfekter Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir (10 Freunde) hatten eine einmalige Zeit in der Villa von George. Die ruhige Lage und Aussicht auf das Meer ist einzigartig. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es alles nötige und wenn man das Haus nicht verlassen möchte, kann man sich Frühstücken, Mittagessen und Abendessen ganz bequem liefern lassen. Die Villa an sich ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Zimmer modern eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich kann eigentlich nicht besser sein, bei schönen Wetter können alle gemeinsam draußen sitzen und kochen (Außenküche). Ansonsten kann ich mich nur nochmal bei George bedanken, er ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Danke!

Ein liebevoll gestaltetes Traumhaus am perfekten Ort

Wir waren von diesem wunderschönen Haus rundum begeistert! Es hält sogar noch mehr als Bilder und Beschreibung schon versprechen. Der Außenbereich ist atemberaubend und der Blick auf das tiefblaue Meer von fast jeder Stelle gegeben. Der namengebende zentrale Olivenbaum kreiert eine unvergleichlich idyllische Stimmung, die von der Gartengestaltung unterstützt wird. Das gesamte Gelände ist von Blumen, Sträuchern und Bäumen gesäumt, die einem von Beginn an ein paradiesisches Gefühl geben. Der Eindruck der absolut liebevollen Gestaltung setzt sich auch in den Innenräumen fort, wobei der Master-Bedroom natürlich das Highlight darstellt. Hier wurde kein schickes, aber seelenloses Haus für Touristen hochgezogen, sondern ein durchdachtes Wohnhaus mit Liebe zum Detail zu einem traumhaften Feriendomizil ausgebaut. Ich kann natürlich nicht alle Punkte aufzählen, aber einige sind besonders hervorzuheben: die Ausstattung der Küche lässt auch für hohe Ansprüche keine Wünsche offen; in der großen Außenküche mit Spüle, Kühlschrank, Holzofen, Grill und Blick auf die angrenzenden Olivenhaine wird das gemeinsame Kochen zum Hochgenuss; eine Tischtennisplatte sorgt für Spaß zwischendurch; die Liegen am Pool sind hervorragend; der Essbereich draußen kann durch transparente Rollos hervorragend vor abendlichen Winden geschützt werden, und, und, und ... Genauso begeisternd ist die Lage: man ist absolut für sich (und wird sogar viel weniger als auf Kreta üblich von Hundegebell gestört), aber gleichzeitig innerhalb weniger Minuten mit dem Auto in Rethymnon oder bei guten, großen Lebensmittelmärkten (auch Lidl). Tolle Strände und Buchten sind natürlich auch nicht weit, genauso wie die traumhafte und ruhigere Südküste (ca. 45 Minuten), oder andere wunderbare Ziele wie das Töpferdorf Margarites oder die idyllische Myli-Schlucht. Der Gastgeber hat uns von Beginn an hervorragend betreut und vermittelte immer das Gefühl, dass ihm unser Wohlergehen nicht nur berufsbedingt wichtig ist, sondern wirklich am Herzen liegt. Diese Haltung zeigte sich natürlich auch bei den regelmäßigen Reinigungen von Haus und Pool. Also: man kann sich in dieses Haus und diese Umgebung nur verlieben, eine bessere Wahl für einen Traumurlaub auf Kreta können jedenfalls wir uns kaum vorstellen. Wir können es kaum erwarten zurückzukehren!

Modern villa with beautifully designed outdoor area and stunning views

The villa is located in a quiet area on a hill near Rethymno with stunning views over olive tree fields to the sea. The interior is newly renovated and serves all needs. The most attractive part is the outdoor area with a beautiful large pool, trees and fantastic views over quite olive tree fields and the sea at the skyline. There are also many places to sit in the shadow. The owner Giorgios is very attentive and always available in case of any needs. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely consider to come back.

Amazing House with a little weird twist

First of all, the house itself is amazing. It easily fits 12 People, is so well maintained and simply beautiful. Also the Service of the Property Manager is outstanding. Now the twist: we got charged for damages we did not cause. Yes the one Damage was entirely our fault but the more expensive one they charged us wasn't. Nevertheless, at such an expensive House with this service we did not expect to get charged at all especially because the rent without a deposit-system. They made us pay cash, there was no room for negotiation and understanding and in addition to this we had to fight for the Invoice of the Repairs, to send them to our insurance. The house is amazing but make sure you check it immediately for damages or you might get charged (even though it is not your fault).

Fantastisch mooi!!

STOP maar met zoeken, hier wil je naar toe! Een bijzonder mooie, moderne en ruime villa die van werkelijk alle gemakken is voorzien. Villa ligt op een rustig gelegen plek met een schitterend uitzicht op zee op nog geen 10 minuten van Rethimnon. (auto noodzakelijk) De tuin is adembenemend mooi en men kan er in een naastgelegen andere tuin verse sinaasappels, kiwi's, druiven, limoenen e.d. plukken. Het zwembad is fantastisch met een bubbelbad en een minder diep gedeeld voor kleine kinderen. Werkelijk alle ruimtes zijn voorzien van airco wat het verblijf nog comfortabeler maakt. De eigenaar is een erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam persoon die je het op alle manieren naar de zin probeert te maken. Echt een aanrader!!
