About this property

Affordable beachside luxury in a beautiful intimate setting.

Ours is the most modern house on Coconut River built with concrete and a double roof for more effective air flow and cooling. Designed for 6 adults we offer three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a sun terrace and a shaded balcony for dining..all with sea views. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated to a very high standard...teak furniture, granite work and bathroom surfaces. Their is air-conditioning and ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms which are set up as two doubles and a twin for most flexibility.we welcome children and can offer a Mothercare cot and a high chair. The house will be set up for your arrival complete with welcome pack. It will be cleaned twice weekly by our cleaner, the pool is checked and cleaned each day and the gardener will be present 6 days out of 7. There is a night guard. Should you require airport pick up we can arrange that for you at a small extra charge.

I'm Gill. Married to Brian. We're both retired teachers now based in France where we have a Gite for summer rentals. With a married daughter and two grandchildren in London and a married son in Dallas, we travel a lot. We spend a couple of months each year in Samui upgrading the house and having a lovely relaxing time!

Why they chose this property

It's a great location and the house is very well built and maintained. There will be only pleasant surprises! We have 12 years experience of letting it and our neighbours in Samui are on hand should you need any help. We spend a couple of months a year living in the house so we know it's in excellent condition for the rental season. Guests tell us it feels like a home and we think that's because we invest time, money and effort into the property. We like Nathon and Maenam which are both just a few kilometres away. These places have retained their local character and you'll feel like you're in Thailand! The west coast of the island is a delight to explore and again this is on your doorstep. Take a long tail boat from the south west for a day and experience some excellent snorkeling, turquoise seas and lunch on a five island beach...truly stunning. Visit the Four Monkeys just along the beach for the best fresh coffee on the island and don't forget to pick up some fresh fruit from the stall just along road while you're there! It makes for a good breakfast after a dip in the sea or the pool.

What makes this property unique

The design of the house is unique on the rental market in Coconut River...cooler by far and less prone to problems with insects than the older wooden properties. We also have three bathrooms, one for each of the bedrooms which is unique to the Coconut River rental properties. Painted white both outside an in, with tiled floors throughout Coconut River 7 looks bright from the exterior and light and airy on the interior. You'll feel the difference particularly on the upper floor of the house. We have a wifi contract for multiple devices, which means you're all online as soon as you get here.
