The "Casa de Penas de Cima" estate is located in northern Portugal in Geraz do Minho, 15 km from Braga, 20 km from Guimarães, 20 km from the Peneda-Gerês National Park, and 70 km from Porto and its international airport.

Set in a splendid location where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful and restful stay, the estate features four beautifully renovated independent farm buildings in an authentic Portuguese style:
• ‘Casa da Borboleta’, a 3-bedroom house,
• ‘Casa do Forno’, a 2-bedroom house with a private garden,
• ‘Casa da Colmeia’, a 2-bedroom house,
• ‘Casa das Azeitonas’, a 2-bedroom house.

The area also has a game room with billiards, table football, table tennis ... common to the 4 houses

The estate includes a stunning shared garden surrounding a large shared swimming pool (7 x 13 meters). There is also a shared games room with a pool table, table football and table tennis.

Wi-Fi access is available in each house, though please note that internet connectivity and phone signal may be weak due to the limited signal in the valley.

This farm house is ideally located for exploring Braga, Bom Jesus, Porto, the coast, Peneda-Gerês National Park, Guimarães, Barcelos, Ponte de Lima, and more.

Casa das Azeitonas
This very spacious and comfortable house is spread over two floors. Casa das Azeitonas can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.

The two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, and each has a chest of drawers and a private en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The first, larger bedroom has two single beds and a bunk bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. The French doors in both bedrooms open onto the inner courtyard.

On the first floor, there is a large open-plan living room and dining area. The comfortable living room overlooks the inner courtyard and garden. The dining area has a table for 6 people. The living room is also equipped with a TV/video player, a desk and a library of books.

The kitchen, located next to the dining area, is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, cooker and refrigerator.

The house has been renovated using quality materials and offers all modern comforts, while retaining its original atmosphere and period character. The old, thick granite walls ensure a pleasant temperature inside the house throughout the year – even in the heart of summer.
When this house was still a working farm, it was customary for the farm workers to sleep on the first floor, above the larger farm animals, which rested on the ground floor. This was to benefit from the additional warmth they provided.

The house is strictly non-smoking.

There is limited Wi-Fi access throughout all the houses. Please be aware that the internet connection and mobile phone signal may be weak, as connectivity is limited in the valley.
