You are staying in the prestigious Palma Ceia neighborhood in South Tampa. This area is quiet with a lot of charm. The street names throughout Palma Ceia are of Cuban origin, coming from streets in the old section of Havana. Historians say the most likely explanation is that Angel Cuesta, president of Cuesta, Rey Cigars, shared a map of Havana with developer Thomas Palmer while discussing the area.
I highly recommend using ride-sharing services: - Airport ~ 6.2 mi ~15 min - Cruise terminal ~4.5 mi ~ 9min - Raymond James Stadium ~ 4.3mi ~ 11 min - Amelie Arena ~ 3mi ~ 9min - Hyde Park / SOHO ~ 1.2 mi ~5min - St Pete Beaches ~27 mi ~45min
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.

Hosts were very accommodating and great communication. Very nice property in a beautiful neighborhood that is close to downtown but you’d never know it. Would definitely stay here again.
The host was warm and welcoming. I had several questions prior to my stay, and he immediately answered my questions. The amenities were in great condition, and the location was perfect!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect! Walk to Bayshore Blvd and easy drive to downtown. The duplex had every amenity you could want including a nice backyard for the pooch! Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
We stayed one night before leaving for our cruise. Excellent location and the property was very clean. Aaron was very timely with his communication regarding the check in process and answering any questions.
We stayed here for UTampa Parents Weekend . It’s close to Hyde Park, shopping, dining and the University. It was clean, quiet, very nice, and very comfortable. It’s on a beautiful street and in a beautiful neighborhood with million dollar homes all around. The hosts are very nice and super responsive. It was perfect.
We recently stayed here for the holidays while visiting family. The location was fantastic, walkable to tons of restaurants and beautiful scenery for walking the dog. The house was clean and exactly what the pictures show. This place has a cute fenced in backyard as well. It was easy to check in and out too. There is easy access to the crosstown to head to St. Pete or out to Brandon. We will be staying here again for sure!
This is an adorable unit in a lovely Tampa neighborhood-- unit was as advertised, very clean and the owner was very responsive. We came to town for a dinner at Bern's steakhouse and this unit was just half a mile way (less than 5 minute Uber ride). Perfect stay and amazing meal at Bern's!
Everything was very professional from the very start. We chose this property for the location in south Tampa and because we could bring our dogs with us. The neighborhood was amazing!! Definitely would recommend this property.
This was the perfect place for a short term stay with our two teenagers. The area was adorable and walkable to restaurants and ice cream. It was well set up and supplied. It is small. With two teenagers I was glad we were only there for a short period of time. But it was perfect for what it is.
This unit was perfect for our short stay in the Bay area. The twin beds in the second bedroom were exactly what our girls preferred, and the queen bedroom was comfortable. The area was quiet and felt very safe. We walked one day and went for a short run to the Bay on another morning. We did not do any cooking, but it was nice to have a fridge with an ice maker. Our son and daughter in law live a few blocks away and we would stay here again. Perfect!
This is located close to the many downtown Tampa activities. The neighborhood is beautiful with varied architecture and lush landscape. This home is the 1st floor of a renovated 1940s house. The kitchen is equipped, the beds are comfortable and the shower has excellent water pressure and hot water. The neighborhood is quiet with respectful neighbors. We appreciated the off-street parking spot right in front of the house that was plenty for a full sized pick up truck. We will stay here again when visiting Tampa. The property managers communicated well. Everything was im order and 100% ready for our use.
We came for two weeks with dog in tow to visit our daughter who attends UT. We walk 3-4 times a day and this was the perfect location to walk through neighborhoods and over to Bayshore. Also we worked remotely so needed a desk which this had. Though this unit is two bedrooms it’s pretty small if you have 4 people here full time.
We had a small issue, but the owners were quick to respond and had it fixed.
I cooked most of our meals here, so of note there is no dishwasher. Not a big deal, but I didn’t pay attention when booking. Also since I was in the kitchen a lot, there is not good lighting over the kitchen sink area. Turning on the stove light helped.
We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Tampa.
Life is about finding opportuni-trees to hang your hammock in or a beach to bury your feet in. I am a serving Army veteran that enjoys travel and the outdoors. Tampa is where I call home. It is a city with plenty of activities. Many days you can find me in a hammock, riding a bike, or sitting on the beach watching the sun set.
Why they chose this property
This property was purchased in 2015 as an long term investment, for when I retire from the Army. Additionally it allows my high school son to attend the well respected Plant high school We love this area so much, we want to give an opportunity to others to have the same experience. This area allows our guests to stay in the historic Palma Ceia neighborhood and enjoy its character.
