About this property

Historic West Tampa Cottage

Enjoy historic West Tampa in our authentic tropical cottage, walking distance from restaurants, and MacFarlane Park! Newly renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a large kitchen and front porch seating surrounded by tropical foliage!
please note that there is no backyard. There.are other short-term rental in the backyard behind the fence.
Two off street parking spaces directly in front of the house.

If you are traveling with friends who want a little privacy, rent the tiny house behind the Key West Cottage as well! (You can find it on our profile page) The cottage does not have a backyard.

The space
The master Boho style bedroom boasts of glamour with a chandelier hanging over a king sized memory foam top bed!
The other bedroom is reminiscent of old Florida, with a gold and black chandelier
hanging over a queen pillow-top bed!
Each bedroom has a smart TV, ready to stream your favorite shows, as
well as the big screen 50" in the great room. With the two futon sofas in the great room, there is room for 6 people to comfortably sleep.
Guest access
Two off street parking spots are provided directly in front of the house. (See listing photo for details). Pets are welcome for an additional charge.
Other things to note
There is a pet fee for 75$ per trip. The limit of pets allowed in the property is up to two.

Wonderful cottage with great location. Close to UTampa, the Bucs' stadium, restaurants, downtown and the highway. Home was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Owner was terrific, and very responsive.

While the overall property was clean enough the bed in the master bedroom was not clean and after our first night we washed all the bedding including the mattress pad. I would also encourage the property manager to be clearer on where those using the second unit should park. Finally, the venting between the two units needs to be improved as we had very strong cooking smells in our unit from the unit at the back of the property.

We stayed for a weekend for the MCR concert and it was in an ideal location for us. We did some exploring, but we were primarily there for the concert. Just the right amount of room for all of us. The bakery Panitas down the road ended up being a favorite spot for us while we were there. The only issue we had was the parking. It was a tight squeeze in front of the house between the 2 trees. I think if the cars were smaller, it might not have been bad. But an SUV and a van made it kinda hard. All in all, it was a great stay.

The hosts are very proactive and communicative. There were a few issues that popped up but they did their best to handle them right away.

This place is disgustingly gross. Rented and when got there live and dead bugs and window ac units were black and smelled. Owner said place had been tented proving bug problems. He wanted to spray chemicals with my dog being there.
