Tranquil Setting

The gite is perfect and St. Siffret is a beautiful quaint village with a great restaurant called also Baraganas Also close by in St Maximin is another fab restaurant called Restaurant L'estanquet. The gite is in excellent condition and everything was in great working order. The only issue is the spiral staircase leading to the bedrooms. We couldn’t get our suitcase upstairs so we left it in the lounge and dressed in the downstairs shower room which was perfect. Pool area excellent with plenty of seating. Garden area perfect for kids and dogs. All in all out of the 3 villas we stayed in this was our favourite.

Everything was fine except for the staircase which was steeper and tighter than expected. Also this time of the year (September) was bad for midges

Nice but not perfect

Nice house in really quit neighbourhood. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beds are a bit short, two matrasses without a topper (not what you want on a holiday) and not very comfortabel. The swimmingpool is big enough but the water was not very clean. The kitchen is sufficient but not very modern and some of the equipment needs to be replaced. In general there was not much attention for details and hospitality.

Tranquil and beautiful

We had a wonderful week here of pure relaxation. Our highlight was the garden. It was such a great space. Well kept with beautiful plants. Lots of space to chill out. The pool was fantastic and we spent time in there each day. There’s a large trampoline and swings for the kids too and pétanque balls and pool inflatables in the pool house. The house was fine for our needs. A very well equipped kitchen. As mentioned in other reviews the stairs would be tricky if you have young children or large suitcases. Beds are comfy and the downstairs shower is excellent. We were a bit disappointed to only get one towel each and no hand towels or tea towels for the bathrooms or kitchen. I had messaged this to the property agent and had to message again when there was no response. We were halfway through our stay before we got two tea towels dropped off. We ended up using one in the bathroom as a hand towel. It’s a pity as the house was so well equipped otherwise. The only other thing we were a bit put off by was dog poo near the pétanque court. The garden was big enough so we could just steer clear. Apart from those couple of things we had a great stay and we would come back again for sure. The owner was always quick to respond via Vrbo on the lead up to our stay. Plenty of things to do round and about Uzes. You do need a car.

Heerlijk verblijf !

Wij hebben genoten van dit verblijf! Het huis is voorzien van airco, twee badkamers (waaronder 1 heel nieuwe) en 2 kamers. Onze kindjes hebben zich goed geamuseerd in het heerlijke zwembad en op de trampoline. Wij genoten van de prachtige tuin met mooie bloemen. Locatie is ideaal: in een rustige woonwijk, vlakbij het mooie Uzes. Een aanrader!

Calme et reposant

Belle demeure, très bien agencée, propre, très beau parc clôturé, idéal pour nos amis à 4 pattes et pour les familles avec enfants, climatisation appréciée dans les 2 chambres, très belle piscine, calme. Le village est calme il manque cependant des commerces de proximité (boulangerie…). Avons passé un agréable séjour, dans ce lieu proche d Uzes.

Au calme

Vacances parfaites dans un endroit très calme. Bel extérieur avec un grand jardin, les enfants ont apprécié les jeux. Maison bien assez grande pour toute la famille (peut être juste un bémol pour les escalier un peu dangereux pour des petits) et proche de beaucoup de sites nous avons pu visiter et profiter de la région même sur un court séjour de 4 jours . Merci au propriétaire pour la réactivité lorsque on a besoin de renseignements, et merci pour les petites attentions à l'arrivée. Je recommande vivement pour des vacances reposantes.

Great property.

We spent 5 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is roomy and clean and the kitchen’s well equipped. The outdoor spaces are lovely and the setting is very quiet and private. We didn’t use the pool but it looked inviting. The owner was quite responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Very Nice stay

We had a Very Nice stay, at a beautiful house. The swimming pool is awesome. Very good to have when you travel with little kids. Olivier is very helpfull and very friendly. All I van say is that I would-be recommand it to everyone to stay at this Nice and quiet place.

Viel Erholung!

Das Haus ist wirklich schön. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Garten und poolbereich sind super schön und gut gepflegt. Bei einem kleinen Problem kam sofort jemand der geholfen hat. Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt, was toll für unseren Hund war. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und lädt zum Wandern ein. Wir haben uns gut erholt und kommen bestimmt wieder!

nice gite in an beautifull surrounding

we stayed 2 weeks in april/may 2022. The gite is very nice with 2 bathrooms and 2 airconditioned bedrooms. Also there is good wifi . And the swimmingpool is heated witch is very nice in april… Only concern was the fridge and freezer , the freezerdoor was broken so it worked not as it supposed to work. Location of the house is on a hillside but the garden is flat and very spacious. The pool is superb and there are deckchairs and a dining table next to it that you can use. We had electric bikes that we used to go to Uzes, pont du Gard. There are great bicycle roads nearby where cars are prohibited. Avignon is 45 minutes by car and Nimes also so it’s located ideally for sightseeing. Olivier responded quickly when we had an ant-problem on the terras and looked after the pool, the garden and spoke English witch is very nice because our french is not so good… Greetings from Holland

Charmante maison

Piscine chauffée: très appréciable avec seulement 15 degrés en extérieur. Nos ados ont pu en profiter ! Excellente literie, très bien équipée, réactivité du gérant: super séjour! Les commerces ne sont pas tout près.

Excellent séjour Tout est parfait

Reposant

Séjour très agréable dans cette maison propre et moderne. Le jardin est superbe et la piscine très agréable. Le quartier est calme pourtant nous y étions en juillet. Nous avons aimé la proximité de Uzès et Alès. La procédure d'arrivée est pratique et bien rodée. Je recommande. Merci pour tout.

Positiv: Gute, ruhige Lage vom Haus und sehr grosszügige, schöne Aussenanlage. Negativ: Informationen wie das Eingangstor zu öffnen ist, waren in einem angehängten PDF im Chat von Fewo - sehr unübersichtlich. Teils altes, vernachlässigtes Equipment (Backofen, Eingangsschlösser).

A superb place for a relaxing vacation or working from distance.

Only very positive emotions! Very nice location in a quiet village and yet close to everything. The house is fully equipped with everything you may need, pool is very convenient and the communication with the host and check in/ check out went very smoothly. It was perfectly suitable for working from a distance (sufficient wifi), and at the same time our kids spent a wonderful week in the pool. There are many many things to see and do nearby for both - adults and children. I'd happily recommend it to anyone!

Équipements d'extérieur complets pour un séjour au calme. Le trampoline et les balançoires étaient de jolies surprises et sont venues idéalement compléter la piscine chauffée. Nous recommandons !

Emplacement adéquate

L emplacement de la maison est bien pour visiter uzes, Nîmes et Avignon. L équipement de la maison est correcte mais à préciser plus dans l annonce. Exemple : en cuisine, un torchon serait la bienvenue. Pour bébé, il faudrait une table à langer en salle de bain, et mieux préciser l equipement: lit parapluie, dimension, matelas etc. Notre arrivée à failli être un loupé avec l absence d info sur les codes d accès à la maison par écrit suite au paiement. Par la suite le propriétaire s est montré disponible par SMS.
