Fabulous stay…with large family group

Lovely property, fabulous views!Easy check-in.Plenty of walks to pubs!! Some fabulous places to visit around and about.

Great views

Lovely place to stay for a birthday celebration with family. Super walks from barn so didn’t use car all weekend. Weather great, would have liked some more comfortable outdoor seating.

Fantastic weekend getaway

Booked Valley View for a weekend with family. It was the perfect setting, stunning views across the countryside, remote with no neighbours and a huge field for the kids to play in. Property was clean and very well equipped. Perfect space to relax as a family. Highly recommend!

Simplicity not Spartan

Had a great time here, the property isn't huge, but 13 people felt comfortable and the living /dining space didn't feel small, even when we had outside catering in. Sophie gave us loads of advice and tips for things to do nearby and the maps were there were useful to have. All in, perfect sized property for 4 nights

Perfect celebratory break!

We planned a weekend break to celebrate our friend's upcoming wedding and the barn did not disappoint! Sophie was great at keeping us updated and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location and views at the barn were incredible, and it was well within easy access of lots of areas (restaurants, pubs, walks, attractions, villages). The decor of the barn was beautiful.

Super venue for a large group

A great barn, surrounded by countryside, for a large group of people. There are 7 bedrooms with options of king or twin beds. The main room is large with sitting, dining and kitchen areas altogether. This was ideal for our group of 12 girl friends who meet up each year. Great country walks and we visited Chatsworth. Great facilities in the house, although we hired a chef for one evening (excellent) and walked for a Sunday lunch to Brassington (about 45mins. On the country lane).

Getaway to the Dales

Well equipped and quiet with great scenery all around. Good directions to locate and within easy distance of anywhere you might wish to visit in Derbyshire. Lots of helpful visitors info in the barn. We had a very enjoyable stay.
