Casale Ferronio-Apartment La Vite

The "La Vite" apartment is located within Casale Ferronio, in the hills of the village of Scandriglia (Rieti).
Casale Ferronio consists of three independent apartments, each perfectly organised and equipped to accommodate up to 15 people.
“La Vite” is one of the four apartments and sleeps six.
The “La Vite” apartment is located within Casale Ferronio, in the hills of Scandriglia (Rieti), and spans three floors. On the ground floor is the living room, featuring a kitchenette, a fireplace, and an outdoor patio with a dishwasher; on the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms (whose beds can be converted into queen-size beds if needed) and a bathroom with a tub and washing machine; on the second floor, there is a very large double bedroom and another bathroom with a shower.
The apartment has a spacious, covered outdoor area where you can relax and have lunch.
It is possible to add 2 beds (in the double bedroom) and/or a cot (pricing upon request).
Guests have access to the panoramic pool with changing rooms, the washing machine, table tennis, and the barbecue area.
The pool is shared with other guests.
You can order traditional homemade dishes and purchase organic extra virgin olive oil produced on-site.
For large groups, it’s possible to rent multiple apartments within the same farmhouse, accommodating up to 19 people (pricing upon request).
Casale Ferronio is located about 50 km from Rome and 33 km from Rieti, where you can explore the “Valle Santa” route of St. Francis in the Rieti plain, including Fonte Colombo, Greccio with its famous nativity scene, and the Santuario della Foresta.
Not to be missed, about 10 km away: Farfa Abbey and the Farfa River, with its natural pools; 5 km away is Scandriglia, a village serving as the starting point for hikes through the Monti Lucretili Park, including the trail leading to the picturesque monastery of San Nicola.
Also worth visiting is Nerola Castle.
In Frasso, you can visit the astronomical observatory.

1.In By car: Take the Fiano Romano exit off the highway, continue on the Salaria towards Rieti until km 52.8 (Osteria Nuova), then turn right towards Ponticelli.
2.In By bus from Rome Tiburtina, you can reach Osteria Nuova, located about 4.5 km from the farmhouse.
3.In By train from Rome (Fiumicino, Trastevere, Tiburtina, etc.) take a train to Fara Sabina (Passo Corese), from where you can take a bus to Osteria Nuova.
For stays longer than 7 nights, an additional cleaning fee of €70 is required, which includes a change of sheets and towels and a general cleaning of the house.
The pool is open from June through September and is shared with other guests.
Independent heating is billed based on actual usage at a rate of €1.50 per cubic metre.
During the winter months, a security deposit of €150 is required to cover utility costs.
Firewood is available for the fireplace for a fee.
