About this property

* NEW LISTING* Le Rêve - cottage with private garden and heated pool

Le Rève (The dream) has been fully renovated by ourselves. A traditional stone normandy longère cottage, both the exterior and interior have been tastefully modernised to keep original features but provide a comfortable modern living space. The cottage is situated next to our farm and the local church, but has it's own private enclosed 500 square meter garden.

The modern fitted kitchen has an electric ceramic hob, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a large living room with TV (French, English and German channels) and comfortable corner sofa. The bedroom has a double bed and space to store clothes. The bathroom has a large shower, and a wash basin. There is a separate toilet and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bed linen and towels are included in the cost of the rental, and we offer an end of stay cleaning service for 30€, please let us know upon your arrival whether you require this and we will arrange it for you.

The garden to the rear can be completely enclosed, and has sun loungers and a picnic table.The house has full central heating and Wi-fi throughout.

Urlaub auf dem Land

Wir wurden von Wil und Amanda sehr freundlich empfangen - Check-in war sehr unkompliziert und bei Fragen war Wil sofort da. Das kleine alte Haus liegt inmitten eines kleinen Dorfes direkt neben der Kirche - sehr malerisch(!) und ruhig. Über den nur von Kaninchen und Spatzen benutzten Weg kommt man zum Haupthaus des Bauernhofes und zum Gemeinschaftspool - alles sehr sauber, gemütlich und nicht zu aufgeräumt. Duft von frischen Tomaten und vielen Blumen, Geräusche und Gerüche von Pferden, Ziegen und Hühnern. Zum Haus gehört ein Rasenstück mit Blick auf einen alten Steinbau im "Wartezustand", Liegen, Sitzgelegenheiten, Unterstand. Wegen des vergleichsweise guten Wetters konnten wir viel draussen sein. Im Haus ist alles da, was man erwartet, Küche gut ausgestattet, Bad renoviert (wie auf Fotos) Bett 140 breit mit Quietschkomfort aber gemütlich. Nach langer sommerlicher Regenperiode hatte das Haus einen leicht feuchten Geruch, Lüften half(!). Mit dem Auto 15 Minuten zum Strand, Fahrräder bietet Wil zur kostenfreien Nutzung an, weil wir mit Hund unterwegs waren, haben wir das nicht genutzt. (Die Gegend lädt zum Radeln ein!) - Der Bauernhof ist auch ein idealer Ort für Urlaub mit Kindern (andere Unterkünfte von Wil und Amanda). Wir haben eine schöne Zeit verbracht - auch wegen der Lage zu den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Mont St. Michel, Landungsstrände D-day, Chairbourg, diverse Märkte) und den nahe gelegenen Stränden, besonders Lindbergh-Plage...!
