Golant, fabulous scenery, such a lovely village, really welcoming. The Fishermen Arms Pub fabulous

Great place, quirky, clean and very welcoming. Has everything you need with the most beautiful views. Charles is so helpful and always answers by return.

Great Stay

Spacious, homely house is in a peaceful and idyllic location with fantastic views across the village and river. Steep hills are unavoidable whilst enjoying many of the local walks. A peaceful, un-commercialised base for enjoying this area of Cornwall.

Stunning Property

We had a fabulous stay at Colbeh. The house is as advertised and was well laid out, deceptively spacious and very well equipped. The conservatory is a great addition and perfect at this time of year when it’s just a little too cold to eat out. All in all a great place and we hope to return.

Colbeh at Golant, Cornwall

Nice property, great view of the River Fowey estuary. The kitchen was very well equipped. Overall though the property could do with a little TLC and better cleaning. Mould in the downstairs bathroom and a rusty soap holder should have been fixed. More towels would also have been welcome. The downstairs bedroom would have benefited from a good airing. Great thorough guide to the property prepared by the renters was a bonus. We took advantage of the lovely walks described. Overall a nice stay but could have been a five star rating with a little more attention to detail in cleanliness.

Sehr gemütliches und schön gelegenes Haus

Das Haus liegt in einem schönen und sehr ruhigen Dorf am Fluss "Fowey". Es ist ein komfortables und geräumiges Haus mit Parkplatz für ein bis zwei Autos. Der Blick aus dem Hauptschlafzimmer oder dem Wintergarten auf das Tal und dem Fluß ist zauberhaft. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat eine tolle Info-Mappe für das Haus und der Umgebung vorbereitet. Sehr hilfreich. Ein paar kleinere Dinge könnten optimiert wreden, da es sich ja um ein älteres Haus handelt. Das ist aber normal. Im großen und ganzen kann ich die Unterkunft und den Vermieter sehr empfehlen.

Lovely peaceful location

The house was clean and well-appointed, all communication with the owner was clear and helpful. Golant is a lovely village with a great pub. The house was spacious and comfortable with great views.
