Condo A8 is a highly desirable OCEANFRONT 1-bedroom, (sleeps 2) ground floor home at Kihei Sands Condominiums & has been COMPLETELY remodeled & refurnished.

Our FULL KITCHEN is stocked with essentials & everything you need to prepare your meals. Your welcome basket includes a packet of Maui Oma coffee for your Keurig duo coffeemaker - or bring pods of your favorite blends from home. Stocked with dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, a new sponge, trash can liners & paper towels. You'll replenish paper items as needed.

Relax in our LIVING ROOM in a comfortable couch & chair, a Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, serene comfort with A/C & ceiling fans - you'll have the most enjoyable evenings after a day in the sun.

The DINING AREA seats 4 comfortably, but you'll likely have all your meals on the OCEAN-FACING LANAI & table (seats 6) - perfect if you have friends or family staying with us too! The patio is perfect for meals & socializing - great for meeting & talking story with other guests.

In the BEDROOM you'll sleep like Rip Van Winkle on a new King mattress, especially if the window is open to let in the sound of gently lapping waves. Our mini-split Mitsubishi A/C will keep you cool if you prefer quiet.

The BATHROOM walk-in shower features a grab bar, glass wall & handheld showerhead, perfect for cleaning your feet before hopping into premium white sheets. There's three rolls of toilet paper & two bars of hand soap to get you started. Your favorite hair & bath products can be purchased on island or brought with you. Hair dryer provided.

In the closet, you'll find BEACH TOWELS, BEACH CHAIRS, UMBRELLA & COOLER. Perfect for taking with you when you explore Maui's many gorgeous beaches.

There are many ways to soak in the warm Hawaiian sunshine. Swim or SUP in the serene morning waters of our incredibly calm bay & boogie board in the afternoons. Build sandcastles in our pristine white Sugar Beach sand. Nap in a floatie in our sparkling oceanfront pool. Walk for miles on our clean, sandy, unpopulated beach. A Maui Revealed guidebook waiting in your condo will assist with planning your adventures!

Our OCEANFRONT patio is adjacent to a beautifully manicured lawn which boasts plenty of chaise lounges, dining tables with umbrellas & two gas BBQ grills. You can’t beat the location with an easy 20 minute drive to almost anywhere you want to go on the island. The condo is stocked with everything you’ll need to be comfortable and feel at home. The pool rarely has more than a handful of people. The beach is just steps out of your door. I’ll definitely be back again to Kihei Sands!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo and the property as a whole were very comfortable and extremely well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and responsive. We had a problem with the AC and they found a repairman within a couple of hours! The beach itself is very nice, but water quality was not so great, in that it was kind of silty, probably from the slope of the beach. Safe and Ok to swim in but low visibility. I don't know if this is always an issue or just due to the conditions at the time. The location is in a fairly congested area in terms of traffic, but since the property is well back from the road, not noisy at all.

As soon as we arrived, everything fell into place: easy check-in, immediate relief from the day's travel hassles as we entered our clean, orderly and invitingly pre-cooled and well stocked units. Friendly office managers Sarah and Connie were available for any questions and needs. On site laundry with clean and brand-new machines was much appreciated. Happy to see friendly Patrick and Gio too who were also available to assist. Lastly, the other guests were so friendly and even offered hugs when we departed.

The pool is right in front of our condo and it can get a little busy at peak times but we enjoyed all the excitment and meeting folks. It was very quiet at night and we had excellent sleeps in the comfy king bed. The condo kitchen was well stocked for meal prep...good knives and every gadget and dish you need. We were there for the annual Thanksgiving buffet which was incredible. Thank you to the hosts esp Patrick and Connie for all that hard work! Can’t wait to come back.

The lanai offers an unparalleled view of the ocean and is literally steps to the beach. The unit came with comfortable beach chairs, umbrella and a fully-equipped kitchen. The charm of Kihei Sands beats every high-rise condo on the island. A short walk down the beach is a lovely farmer's market, the Sugar Beach Bakery (OMG) and Ululani's Shave Ice (Note: the living room furniture isn't as comfortable as the L-shaped sofas in A10 and A12, but then again, you're not in Maui to watch TV inside!) We will likely be back every year.

The particular suite we stayed in had a great view of the beach and the sunset with proximity to the pool.Only 2 concerns: 1. The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes when we arrived. That left an unpleasant musty odor in the suite. Quickly resolved once we ran the dishwasher and opened some windows.2. Although a peaceful location, the early morning pool cleaning and leaf blowing can be quite noisy, forcing us back inside for morning coffee when it would have been lovely to be on the patio.Having said that, we would be happy to stay at Kihei Sands again

When we spoke to Connie and Patrick, they assured us that we would be safe. They were reassuring and so we made our decision to come. I told Connie my cousin on the island was affected by the fires. Her response was ‘tell him to come join YOU’. Everything was perfect. Our condo was lovely n so we’ll located. When we had an issue with our internet, Patrick came quickly to the rescue. Just a wonderful time spent in Maui and a big part of it was because of the staff n condo at Kihei Sands. Will recommend this place to anyone we know who is travelling to Maui.

WONDERFUL, centrally located, oceanfront condo!!

Reviewer Comments: I have traveled a lot and stayed in my fair share of house/condo rentals.....and I would highly recommend Kihei Sands Beachfront condo (A8). While I understand some folks have specific criteria they are looking for, this condo had exactly what we wanted. It's centrally located (20 minutes from the southwest beaches, 30 or so minutes from northwest beaches, 20 minutes from the airport and northside beaches) so driving was minimal. We often explored both the north and south side of the island without any issues. Hana is a trek, but it's a trek from any point on the island. The immediate area surrounding the condo wasn't anything spectacular (meaning the roadside area/stores) but the condo and the view quickly make up for it. In December we had the pool just feet from our patio, the ocean maybe 20 yards away, and gorgeous sunsets nightly. We don't often opt to stay at our rental for a full day (we like to get out and explore) but we often spent 50% of our time lounging right at home on this vacation. Some have complained about the noise with the pool being so close/noisy, but for us it wasn't a problem. We like people and yes there were kids splashing and playing but they were having a good time and so it didn't bother us. They were always gone by the time the sunset so it was quiet at night...besides the crashing waves that we fell asleep to every night :) Overall, condo was clean, organized and had basic kitchen and bathroom essentials. Lots of beach items were also made available: beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. Office hours were minimal (few hours each and closed on weekends) so that might be the only complaint. That and the bedroom window and patio door did leak water during a heavier rain...getting some of my luggage wet, but nothing major and we simply put a towel down for any future water. Overall, we would highly recommend this rental and we would return to this condo if we make our way back to Maui :)
