You'll love staying in our one-bedroom Condo A10 with a gorgeous view of the beach & the Pacific Ocean. The bedroom boasts a plush King bed with sumptuous bedding, whisper-quiet A/C & light-blocking window coverings for late sleepers. Bedroom TV available upon request.

The private lanai has beautiful mountain & ocean views, perfect for morning coffee & sunset-watching. Two high-end Mitsubishi A/Cs keep the entire condo cool & comfortable. Ceiling fans provide air movement if you prefer having windows open.

We've completely remodeled with your comfort in mind with new furniture & window coverings throughout. Tile flooring will keep your feet cool. Our photos are up-to-date and show accurate views of the condo and property. Our nightly rate is an incredible value for being an oceanfront property, where the beach and ocean are mere steps away from every condo. Your view might as well be oceanfront - without the cost!

You'll find beach towels, a cooler, Tommy Bahama beach chairs & an umbrella in the bedroom closet. Take with you on the days you venture off property to check out more of Maui's gorgeous world-class beaches!

Starter incidentals include a roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of TP, dish soap, trash can liners, dishwasher soap & some spices/oils. We suggest bringing laundry pods & dryer sheets with you, along with your favorite hair products. Hair dryer provided. Plan accordingly if more items are needed.

Kihei Sands sits directly on one of Maui’s best beaches, Sugar Beach. From our oceanfront pool and barbecue patio area you can practically touch the beach - clean, sandy, unpopulated, & stretching for miles in either direction. Step onto the beach & into the water from our idyllic patio & lawn. Start your morning with freshly brewed coffee - served by 7:00 am. Evenings, watch spectacular sunsets while you grill dinner & sip an adult beverage.

You'll love watching canoe races in the early mornings while the sun rises over Haleakala. For the adventurous, join one of two local canoe clubs (located on either side of us) for some paddling fun. Rent an SUP & paddle in our serene & calm morning waters. Grab the boogie boards & go for some wave action when the trade winds arrive in the afternoon.

Our unique complex offers a private crystal-clear mosaic tiled oceanfront pool, a patio with umbrella-covered dining tables, two gas BBQs, plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas on the grassy lawn, & an outdoor shower - all with amazing views.

A 5-minute walk down the beach you’ll find several eateries and shops, including a Fresh Produce Market, ABC Store, Bakery, and Shave Ice. We recommend a tavern located just next door when you first arrive - their sandwiches & salads are outstanding. There are numerous dining & grocery shopping options within 3 miles of Kihei Sands if you arrive on island before your condo is ready.

The long shoreline of beach allows for nice long walks and the sunsets are a photographer’s paradise. The sound of the waves add to the relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed using the bbq at night to make our dinners after shopping for fresh vegetables at the Farmers Market we walked to that is very close by.If you are looking for a quiet, slow paced get away you will love it here. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.

Pleasant Week Away

The property was clean, well maintained and have essentially everything we needed in a rental for a week away in Hawaii. In addition to the standard pots, pans, and dishes. The unit had its own coffee machine, blender, and tea kettle. For the beach the unit came with a good sized umbrella, beach mats, and towels - the beach is just right out the back door. It is a great unit to live in for a week with 2 gas BBQ’s available near the pool. Management is also very responsive if you need something corrected.

The place was super clean, Connie was very responsive when contacted. Plenty of towels provided. No spices and/or staples are kept in the kitchen so bring your own. I'm sure this is to help keep the bug population down and they've done a great job. A/C worked great and was SILENT, inside and out. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay (our first was 5 years ago in unit A6) and we were again overwhelmed with how perfect everything was. It is truly a little slice of paradise with such an intimate feel thanks to the small number of units, can't be beat access to the beach, and all the amenities needed for a perfect beach vacation. We had an amazing week-long stay and are already counting down the days until we can make our way back again. I recommend Kihei Sands to everyone I know heading to Hawaii, as I know there is no other condo unit or resort that can beat it. Truly a one of a kind find that we are so grateful for. Hope to see you all again soon!

The beach out front was wonderful, fairly calm water and lots of soft sand to spread out on as the beach has pretty low traffic.I had failed to notice that on the booking website that despite being only 30 units the complex is billed as a spot for family reunions, etc. There were several multi generational family groups staying there in multiple units who kind of took over the shared grounds which are quite small. As a childless couple looking for a quiet vacation this was somewhat of a drawback for us. This condo also had far less household items like condiments, shampoo/conditioner, etc than other places we have stayed (although it did have plenty of kitchenware and nice beach chairs). It is run much like a hotel vs a condo which is not a bad thing but just don't expect as many of those things to be avaliable if you are used to staying in other similar condos.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall perception on arrival of the Beachfront Condos was really good. The curb appeal is there, and the feeling is great. It was easy getting into the unit with the assigned code, and it was also simple to add our own 'memorable' code. The unit had an overall 'musty' smell that isn't uncommon with humid beachfront units we've stayed at other locations, but we did buy some air fresh spray that helped. The wall safe in the unit needed fresh batteries which the management let me change myself. The management office was very helpful as we needed a new can opener, which was provided, and also helping with other things that came up as well. The location is also very good, on Sugar Beach, and near towns and travel all over the Island. We also walked on the beach (both directions) and swam in the local beach/ocean. The beach equipment that came with the unit was serviceable but the umbrella was replaced by the management team as the original one was damaged/broken unserviceable. The air conditioning unit was serviced while we were there and it did improve the odor in the room for a few days. The unit served our purposes well, and was very comfortable. It should be noted that the Condos can tend to be noisy, depending on who is above you. We were there for three weeks, and the different guests upstairs changed. The last week there were children above us and the noise was quite loud with running, dropping objects, rolling things etc. All these noises could be heard. There is a noise curfew at the Condo but we still needed to remind the neighbours to keep then noise down at night. Again, the management team was very helpful and created a positive experience with their helpful attitudes.

Wonderful beachfront property

The beach is really just a few steps away from or lanai and it is a quiet beach that stretches as far as you can see in either direction. It was lovely.

Excellent location - central to so many Kihei things to do and restaurants. None walking distance, though. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet. Your beach awaits - literally less than 100 steps away. The small but well-maintained pool and lounge chairs are even closer. This sure beats the much more expensive luxury resorts in Wailea, which are beautiful but you'll have a 10 minute walk from your room to the pool and more (or a drive) to the beach. Priced right - especially in the shoulder seasons.

11 Days cooling off from Hot Houston

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo experience was pretty much what I expected. Excellent place to walk/exercise/hike on the beach. All other vacationers in the condo complex are easy people to carry on a conversation and cook on the two well engineered BBQ grills. Pool is perfectly located on the water front but to the side of umbrellas sitting areas. Showers w heads above your head and at knee high are located just off the beach, a real benefit to not tracking in sand. Swimming in the waves is a sandy experience. I did have a few issues upon arrival. Once I made them known, the issues were immediately corrected. Managers are cordial, interesting and professional. Having beach equipment available that one can’t carry on the plane is a real plus. Costco, Walmart, and assorted quality restaurants are within 3 miles. The worst normal heavily trafficked roads are better than the better roads in Houston and without road rage.

Wonderful ocean views, expanses of beach to wander, walking distance to activities (Kihei Canoe Club, and efoil boarding), as well as a small farmers market, ABC, and sugar beach bakery!Ample beach side seating is open to all with morning coffee to watch the sunrise, and a grill to cookout for your evening meal. The condo itself is well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
