Great location for walking into main areas of town or catching a bus. All amenities are close. The apartment has everything you may need and is clean. Nothing fancy but certainly priced accordingly.

We spent a month travelling around Portugal and this was the best place we stayed. Great location, incredibly clean, host picked us up from the airport for no charge, even though our flight kept getting delayed. I’d stay here again!

My wife and I were joined by our daughter and walked/bussed/toured. +++ etc. all over. Good

Compact place with everything you need close by with access to all that the island has to offer. This was our first visit to this island and shall return. We love the Azores.

Perfect holidays

Fantastic host, perfect location

The apartment was in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants, supermarket and bus stops. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated Rosa's hospitality very much. She paid great attention to detail and ensured that everything was set up for us to enjoy our holiday.

Fantastic place

Very clean, we had everything we needed to. Close to the centre of Funchal, lovely park nearby with playground and beautiful views to relax. Shopping centre just 7 minutes away walking. We had an amzing time. Christmas in Funchal is magical. The owner of apartment very kind and helpfull nothing was a trouble. We will definitely come back. Thank you xx

Amazing!

Rosa is really punctual and provides you shuttle to the airport for free. The flat is amazing, clean, close to everything. I strongly recommend it if you want to cook or just chill out. 10/10. I will be back for sure.

Great value apartment in a great location.Plenty of restaurants/ bars and cafes nearby and only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the old town/cable car For an very friendly authentic Portuguese cafe try Maravilhas Regional just a couple of minutes walk up the road.Also a 5 minute walk down the not too steep hill is a shopping centre with a Pingo Doce supermarket in the basement.Apartment is well equipped for self catering including a full size fridge freezer , microwave/ grill , 4 burner hob plus kettle and toaster, Rosa also provided some basic kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid, cloths and kitchen towels which was great, there was even a washing machine that we didn’t use but very useful for longer stays or if you are traveling. Rosa offered us free complimentary pick up and drop off at the airport which made our arrival and departure stress free. Thank you Rosa for an amazing stay in Funchal.

Funchal

If you are looking for a local place to stay other than a hotel, this is it. The apartment is close enough to the "old town" to make it walkable. It's as advertised, and pictures are accurate. It's close to the Casino but we didn't notice any excessive noise. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The apartment was clean, and our host Rosa was exceptional. Rosa is one of the best we have ever worked with, extremely prompt in responding to any inquires and was very accommodating. We would be happy to stay here again. Thanks for everything Rosa, you're the best!!!!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Rosy. Elle est venue nous chercher à l aéroport. L appartement est très bien situé. Nous avons pu visiter l île en bus ou Funchal à pied. Excellent. Le patio donne sur un mur, il n'y a donc pas de vis à vis. On reviendra.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral. Wir wohnten diesmal im Erdgeschoss, hatten ststt der Dachterrasse eine ebenerdige SitzgelegenheitDie bellenden Hunde der angrenzenden Grundstücke sind leider nicht zu überhören.Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig. Ein Minibackofen und ein kleiner Vorhang vor den Reinigungsutensilien wären schön und praktisch. Rosa ist sehr nett und der Transfer ab/zum Flughafen ist sehr praktisch und hilfreich. Dieser Service ist wunderbar. Vielen Dank.
