Dear Ferdinand, Thanks for the beautiful review, we are happy that you liked Villa Barbara, actually the neighbors do not know the villa as Villa Barbara, but we hope that our detailed arrival instructions will be useful to arrive at the villa serenely. We hope to have you soon as our guests at Villa Barbara or in one of the wonderful Garda Holiday Villas. Novella and Cristina

Best week ever

I could write a whole essay about how great was service provided by Novella. She was ULTRA responsive, very positive and gave us all the information we needed. There were some minor problems but she solved them all within minutes. From making reservation, online payment, form filling, through arriving at the villa to garbage disposal everything went smooth. Thanks to Novella it was a truly relaxing time. Villa was great, especially the area outside, the view and the pool were 10/10. Interior felt little outdated but it had a lot of soul and coziness. All the additional accessories were great - high quality pillows, towels, shampoos, soaps. Everything was high quality. Beds were very comfortable. Best week ever!

Fantastic villa and view

Villa Barbara was all what we hoped for. Fantastic location with full view to Lake Garda and Salo' - yet very private and exclusive. Walking distance to Salo' (30 min.) with an uphill which is challenging, but ok. We were in particular amazed with the garden and pool area, however also the standand of outdoor furniture and equipment in kitchen was much higher than what you usually experience with rental villas in Europe. Last but not least - we experienced a fantastic service from Novella in Holiday Garda. And we can also highly recommend chéf Josephine, who on more occasions spoiled us with her cooking. Not much - however fridge and freezer capacity could be better for a villa of this size.

An outstanding property in a perfect location with a wonderful view, dream pool and world-class agen

The service from Holiday Garda on site is outstanding. Villa Barbara is a very well-kept property and has a dream location in a park-like setting. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of there. The dreamy view of Salo and the pool are the most outstanding features. Villa Barbara matches the description on holiday-garda.com in every way. On the ground floor, there are 2 very nice double rooms, and in the souterrain, there is 1 good double room and another double room that has the downside of being lit and ventilated only through a basement shaft. The same goes for the small single room and a connecting room with a single bed. In most rooms, the mattresses were found to be way too soft, especially the mentioned double room and the single/connecting rooms in the souterrain. This can cause a problem when the house is fully occupied with 9-10 people, because some guests might end up having a less standout vacation experience compared to the others. Our suggestion for improvement is at least to check the situation with the soft mattresses and adjust them if deemed necessary.

Great holiday at Villa Barbara

The service was very very good. The views exceptional. The swimming pool excellent. The property was generally good, particularly considering the position of the property on the edge of such a beautiful lake with Salo a short drive away with all the lovely cafes and shops and comparatively, the cost of hiring the villa. The Plumbing and Electrics need some serious attention. We had a Gas engineer as a guest so we didn't need to keep reporting everything. For example the electrics kept tripping out particularly if you used the dishwasher at the same time of using the air conditioning in two of the bedrooms, our guest could sort that out. . The en suit in the main bedroom the shower only produced hot water if you ran the basin hot tap. The tray didn't drain properly. The flush in the main bathroom was so fierce water flew over the edge of pan when flushed. There were also other minor irritations.

Excellent location and views, villa decor and equipment was very dated

Great service from Novella when we had problems, no hot water, no water! and a broken dishwasher. Villa was very “tired” very dated decor which made the rooms very dark but spectacular views and a great location

Dear Louise, Thank you for your review, we are very sorry that there were some problems during your holiday, but we are happy that you appreciated our commitment to immediately resolve the situation in the best possible way. The location, the view, the garden and the swimming pool are superb, actually the interior of the villa is not modern but it is functional and comfortable. We hope that you will soon be our guests again at Villa Barbara or in another of our beautiful Garda Holiday Villas. Novella and Cristina

Wonderful location for a great holiday

The villa, the pool and the wonderful view Some of the beds, for example in the blue bedroom upstairs, are very soft and not really comfortable for heavier adults.
