Wonderful holiday

The villa was spacious and comfortable and everything went well in the week we stayed there. The pool and garden were great and we loved every minute we spent there. Would love to go back.

Great Stay

Two traditional houses in a traditional Italian village- narrow streets. The locals are lovely, the view is to die for and a great base to explore the lake. If you get chance take a boat trip with salvatory from maderno around the island, swim at rabbit island and visit Simone. The village has a lively coffee shop and bakery - madero has several great restaurants and Salo is worth exploring for a night out.

The (pair of adjoining) houses are great and the pool house, garden and pool are particularly lovely. A great location for a pair of families or a group of friends to holiday. Only one thing I would call out, take a small car. The streets are very thin in the area and we came away with some scratches on our SUVs as a result.

Wonderful remodeled stone villa and pool with lawn

Beautiful grounds and views. WIFI however is inadequate. It's the equivalent of dial up and so you can't count on it to do any important work. Otherwise a lovely stay

We had an excellent week in the Olive House. The house, very large garden and pool are very nice and well maintained. The place is quiet and peaceful. The only problem we found is that the access to the house is difficult due to the very narrow old streets at the end of the road. We had to park our car at 200/300mts and walk to the house. Overall, we passed a great time in the house….

We had a wonderful week at this lovely house. The owners and Lourdes the house keeper were very helpful and solved any small problems we had very quickly. The road to the house is extremely narrow for us brits, so I’d recommend a small hire car! The main house is across a very small street from the garden/pool so if you come with small kids then I’d bring a good baby monitor. We lived in the pool house and the gardens, which had everything we needed and we only used the main house for bed time. The views are stunning, Gargnano and toscolano were perfect for us and the family. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to return!

Don’t go in summer - no aircon unbearable!

Need to drive everywhere, kids all got rash from using pool so didn’t us it for 2nd half of our stay, it looked clean but think too much chlorine. We also had a couple of item’s disappear from pool area when they got left out overnight. Don’t go in summer as no air con and it’s unbearable. If travelling with kids I wouldn’t recommend this side of the lake as there’s not that much for them to do especially older children. The other side near Garda is much better!

Awesome property

We had a wonderful stay in this nice, quiet and clean house in a beautiful village right next to Lake Garda. A bar for breakfast coffee ist a nice, short stroll away, great trails for walking, hiking, biking or running start directly at the property. But of really very special beauty is the meticulously maintained garden with old olive trees, oleander and a spatious lawn. There, the pool with poolhouse, kitchen and a shower is located. We spent most of our time just enjoying the place.The garden with pool makes the stay at this property absolutely memorable. The pictures in the ad don't really do this gem justice- we were very pleasantly surprised when we saw the real thing. Driving through the narrow alleys pose a nice but somewhat nerve wrecking challenge - fortunately one can park the car at a spot five minutes walk away without the necessity to navigate through the ancient streets. Altogether, we enormously enjoyed our stay.

Lækker pool og poolhouse med komplet køkken og badeværelse. Her spiste vi alle måltider. Desværre var køleskab nr. 2 defekt. Hårdt brug for 2 køleskabe når vi er 9 personer og spiser hjemme

Keine Wünsche offen gelassen

Wir hatten eine Woche Aufenthalt mit acht erwachsenen Personen. Die Schlafzimmer mit dazugehörigen Bädern waren ideal für unsere Gruppe. Die Gartenanlage mit Poolhouse, Pool und Grillmöglichkeiten war exzellent. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Simple, praktisch und dennoch gemütlich eingerichtete Unterkunft. Zur Verfügung stehen 2 Küchen. Beide Küchen sind ordentlich ausgestattet mit allen benötigten Geräten. Alle Zimmer, Einrichtungsgegenstände und Geräte sind in einwandfreiem Zustand und sauber. Der Garten ist sehr groß und der Pool war das Highlight. Der Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist ein sympathischer und hilfsbereiter junger Mann. Das Haus befindet sich in einem Dorf nahe der Stadt Toscolino-Maderno und hat den typischen italienischen Touch. Dazu gehören auch enge Gassen. Vorsichtig manövriert, kommt man mit dem Auto durch. Eine Bar, ein „Tante Emma-Laden“ und ein sehr gutes Restaurant sind zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichbar. Es gibt sicher mehr zu erzählen- wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub, aber findet selbst heraus, wie schön die Gegend ist.

Wunderschönes Grundstück

Das Objekt verfügt über ein wunderschönes Grundstück mit tollem Garten und Pool… sehr geschickt ist auch das zugehörige poolhaus mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, Waschmaschine und Bad… Was in der Beschreibung nicht stand - das letzte Stück mit dem Auto ist nur mit Autos bis 2,10 m Breite möglich.. mit einem Bus oder breiteren SUV keine Chance… heißt Gepäck schleppen, wenn das Auto zu groß ist… das will man dort nicht - der Weg geht steil hoch und das Auto muss ein ganzes Stück weiter unten geparkt werden …. Außerdem ist das Grundstück mit Pool vom eigentlichen Haus durch eine öffentliche Gasse getrennt… das ging in der Beschreibung auch unter.. alles in allem hatten wir dort einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, tolles Haus, mega Garten…. Auch die Dame von der Agentur war sehr nett und hilfsbereit - sprach aber leider kein Englisch …

Authentic house in small village

Well equipped house with beautiful garden in small authentic village. Be aware that there is only weak wifi in one bedroom and almost no 4G. So if you don't need the internet on your holiday it's a good place to stay.

Authentic

Loved the pool area, really helped since temps were way above normal. Area has authentic charm. Only certain cars and motor bikes can get in between the narrow roads but there is available parking down the hill. Area is quiet and beautiful but only a ten minute drive to town. Had a great time. Definitely recommend. Only draw back is spotty cell phone service due to the mountains. Prompt response from host representative we when had questions. The restaurant down the hill is a must stop. Very accomodating and good food.
