We absolutely loved our stay in Ortigia. Mariangela is a fantastic ‘host’, really helpful, kind and friendly and the apartment is gorgeous.We would love to return to this lovely apartment. (I found VRBO tricky in terms of billing and information giving however).

Excellent location. Clean. All the amenities you need

Host has a very nice lower level apartment. Very modern with all the amenities you need. It is very clean. The host met us there and showed us around the apartment. We were close to all restaurants and shops.

Fabulous location

We had a fantastic stay at this fabulous property. It was so easy to get around Ortigia on foot from this location - even with a baby and a toddler. Very comfortable beds and living accommodation - we wanted for nothing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Place / Fantastic Location

Next time we visit Ortigia, we can hopefully stay at the same place. We had four adults (two couples) and the villa was very spacious and comfortable for everyone. The hosts live nearby and answered any questions we had instantaneously. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here when visiting beautiful Ortigia

Host was very accessible, friendly & helpful! Place was clean, nicely decorated, and well situated. Listing stated a third bedroom, sofa bed was in common area & not comfortable. The parking was misleading - thought it was included. Overall good because the place/city itself is charming.

The location is great. The place is big and comfortable, the beds are nice and comfy. We were happy that the host provided beach towels, coffee, etc. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, we enjoyed that there was washer/dryer combo in the unit. The reason I only gave 3 stars are: 1-the place had a moldy smell, the host ensured us it is not a mold and we ran a/c as a dehumidifier to get rid of smell. It helped to reduce some but did not really addressthe smell. She also had the cleaning lady come and clean the showers once more. I ended up washing all my cloths at home to get rid of the smell. I beleive thatthe smeel needs to be addressed. 2-the place was dark, I value daylight a lot so to me it was a negative but may not be an issue for many people.

Dear guest, as explained during your stay there was some humid weather in the city, that is typical in a place with high temperature and close to the sea. The apartment has A/C - dehumidifiers in each room and, turning them on, humidity in the air (not mold) disappeared. Maybe if you asked at arrival instead of writing the day after to vrbo directly i could explain sooner. I was always there to support you for all your needs/requests as I normally do with all my guests. I have also explained that the black spots you saw on the stones in the shower were not mold but they are typical spots of our stones. Indeed even cleaning a few times with bleach there were still there. So shower was clean even before additional cleaning. Lastly, apartment is ground floor so may not have the same light of an higher level but there are doors and windows in each room. And this is not that common in the apartments in Ortigia Kind Regards Mariangela

The location of this property was wonderful - - really could not ask for better. It is on a charming narrow street and close to restaurants and the sights of Ortigia. The Siracusa sights are across the bridge and take longer to reach. You do not need or want a car (we left our rental car in the Talete parking garage for the entirety of our stay). The flat is on the ground floor of an old building and has the charm and some quirks you would expect in a centuries old building, though it has been updated nicely. Our host, Mariangela, was incredibly responsive to our needs and questions. Our only hiccup was with the air conditioning; two of the three A/C units failed prior to our arrival and were not totally repaired until half way through our stay. This was not a fault of the host and she did everything she could to resolve the issue quickly. She even brought us her own fan to use.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

Beautifully renovated property right in the heart of fabulous Ortigia. Restaurants, cafes, wine bars, shops and amazing streets and buildings are right on the doorstep. Special mention for the host, Mariangela, who was absolutely lovely, and went out of her way to help us and make our stay as good as possible. Would definitely recommend, and would be suitable for a family, a couple or a group.

Beautiful apartment. Excellent location. Beautiful street. Mariangela was terrific, to include arranging a parking spot for us in a garage, meeting us at the garage, and walking us to the property. Property very central but quiet. Numerous restaurants and cafes very close to apartment. Comfortable beds.

Fantastic Apartment in Ortigia!

Our group of 4 adults (2 couples) absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. The location could not be better…set on I think the most charming street in town. A few steps away you can find all the shops you need as well as great restaurants. You are also a short walk to the water. The host was great at communicating and the apartment layout was ideal for two couples. I highly recommend!

Amazing Stay

Amazing stay in Ortigia in a safe area close by to everything in the town! The place had everything we needed for a group of 6 girls. Mariangela had amazing communication and went above and beyond with answering any questions we had. She also helped us set up car transfers to and from the airport and gave some great recommendations. Only good things to say about our experience, thank you Mariangela!
