The concept of the La Libelula property is a luxurious comfortable relaxing retreat for a stress free vacation with everything that you could want without putting a step outside the villa. The property is situated on it’s own pinnacle hillside at the elevation of 285 feet above sea level that enjoys the panoramic views along the coast which is located in the lush tropical coastal forest full of wildlife and birds that surround the property with regular visits from Monkeys, Toucans and Sloths, etc.

Treat yourself to a STRESS FREE VACATION, every 2 day the bedrooms will have a light cleaning, all this is included. For additional the fee of just $40 for the meal for 10 people the housekeeper will cook lunch or dinner, all you do is buy the food and the housekeeper will prepare a delicious local meal for you to eat in the comfort of the Villa (she can help you buying the groceries).

All 4 large bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning. The first master bedroom has a king size bed with on suite bathroom and Jacuzzi tub, covered terrace with Ocean view, walk-in closet and safe box. The second master bedroom also has a King size bed, on suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and covered terrace with Ocean view. The third bedroom has 2 Queen size beds with on suite bathroom and a wrap around balcony with forest view. The fourth bedroom has a King size bed with an on suite bathroom.

When you enter the Villa and open the wide wooden front door to this spacious 5,166 square feet/480 square meter contemporary villa and you are greeted with a large open plan entrance and lounge with travertine floors and fully glazed walls that overlook the pool and beautiful landscaped garden.

On the second floor are 18 foot high vaulted style ceilings with fans throughout the villa to benefit from the flow of cooling breezes off the Ocean and down the valley alongside the property.

There are two dinning areas one inside with floor to ceiling glazed walls the other is outdoor under the large covered patio with a large wooden dinning table that overlooks the sunken water feature, which gently flows into the pool.

The spacious FULLY FITTED GOURMET KITCHEN is equipped with all that is necessary to cater to large families or groups. It has a Breakfast Island with granite countertops and specially hand crafted modern wooden cabinetry throughout.

You can truly enjoy outdoor living in the HUGE KIDNEY SHAPED PRIVATE POOL THAT IS ONE OF THE LARGEST IN THE AREA with a the large surrounding deck area, outdoor shower and a capacious outdoor palm covered rancho decked out with exterior kitchen and gas Barbeque just made for those afternoon and evening cook ups served with the odd cold margarita.

The lounge is spacious with comfortable couches with large glazed windows. The media room has also has deep comfortable couches and a large flat screen television with DVD player. There is also wireless Internet and iPod docking station with CD player.

La Libelula IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED FOR AMENITIES; The small town of Uvita is only 5 minutes away where you find Banks, a selection of well-stocked stores and also a variety of restaurants serving local and international cuisine. Dominical is 15 minutes way that also has variety of restaurants, stores and a few bars for nightlife. And Ojochal is 20 minutes drive and has a good choice of local and gourmet restaurants.

The southern Pacific area of Costa Rica is well known for it’s many and variety of unspoiled beautiful secluded beaches, rivers and waterfalls. The property is only 10 minutes from the closest beach and many other beaches are only a few minutes further away to the north and south. These beaches are ideal for all ages, tastes and level in watersports. There are calm small waved beaches idea for a young family to famous Dominical which is known for consisted good quality waves frequented by surfers and boogie boarders.

There is vast amount of activities, tours and fun pursuits in the area; we can help you with suggestions and if you like booking them for you. Just to list a few; horse riding to the Nauyaca waterfall, Zip Lining, white water rafting, whale & Dolphin watching, scuba & Snorkeling, fishing, tour of the national marine park, ATV tours, Hiking day and night tours in the nation park, kayaking down the mangroves or in the Ocean, Yoga, PIlates classes

We will supply directions from the airport and arrange to meet you and show you the house and welcome you with a bowl of tropical fruits and a bottle of sparkle wine.

La Libelua is only 3¼ hours from San Jose via the new Caldera Hwy (Hwy 27). If you like we can help you with rental cars, tours & many activities, etc. You can easily rent a car and have it waiting for you at San Jose airport for your arrival to pick up. There is a completely stress free option if you want a taxi or mini bus we can be arranged to pick you up at the airport and drive you La Libelula and can organize for your rental car to be waiting at the house or if you prefer you can collect it at Uvita car rental office.
