JC's Lodge offers quiet relaxation in a rural setting yet is less than 15 miles from Penn State University, Bald Eagle State Park, Black Moshannon State Park, and the exceptional trout fishery of Spring Creek. Located at 355 Bush Hollow Rd - less than 1 mile off US 220 Alt in Julian - JC's Lodge includes a full kitchen, 2 full baths, 1 downstairs bedroom that sleeps 2 and an upstairs loft that sleeps 4. Interior walls are a warm knotty pine with plenty of windows to take in the view. Forced hot air heat and A/C makes time spent indoors very comfy. The property also has cable TV, wireless internet, and a strong cell signal (Verizon). You can enjoy a stroll around the property's 55 acres of open field, woods, and small stream. The directions were accurate. If you are taking a dog, the lane is a great area for walking the dog. The information from the Host was simple, making entering the cabin easy. Having a deck overlooking the firepit and the mountain view was a great part of the relaxation. The firepit does need to be upgraded. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, plates etc and a good sized refrigerator. The cabin's location was wonderfully located if you are looking to wine taste, hike, visit breweries or checking out the local college events.

This was a great property with good proximity to Penn State for a football weekend. Water was odorous as warned so we brought our own and the beds were slightly firmer than we are used to. Otherwise this was a great setup for family to gather!

We went for the weekend to visit our son at Penn State. Short drive from cabin to campus, 20 minutes. Very clean. Would stay again. The only negative was the water but we were warned and brought our own
