John, the accommodation and the location working together is exactly what makes the Lake District so easy to enjoy, and it is good to hear both stood out. The fells and lakeside walks are always close, so the door is open whenever you fancy a return.

Really lovely house. Clean, tidy, everything we needed. Good quality decoration and finish. Comfortable beds. Hot showers. Amazing location, able to walk into both Windermere and Bowness with a few minutes. Stress free arrival and departure. We will defo be going back.
Beautiful property with fully equipped modern kitchen. Ideal for getting to shops and restaurants and all the Lake District attractions. Situated in a very quiet street. we enjoyed the Hot tub and Sauna after the long walks.
To contact the host takes some time- as to open the front door is a bit tricky but soon get the hang of it but otherwise would highly recommend this property.
This house is kitted out with everything inc sauna and jacuzzi which you’d expect for the price. Fantastic location, 5 min walk to shops (inc small supermarkets), World of Beatrix Potter 15 mins in the other direction with other shops. Close to the Lake and all it’s activities. Kitchen well equipped for a short stay. Luxurious decor and bathroom for each room. TV’s in every room too! Beds and furniture very comfortable. Minor comment that garden very overgrown. Would definitely re-book.
The house was big enough for the 6 adults staying, large driveway and clean property. Beds very comfy, towels etc provided, a genuinely really lovely house.
We had an amazing weekend and would recommend the house. Be aware though, we tried to communicate with the owner by phone text and e Mail during our stay and got no response whatsoever, the phone number given as a a contact was a female who said she no longer worked for the company and they shouldn’t have given the number out. We were contacting because we have some difficulty opening the front door, it was very stiff and there was clearly a ‘knack’ to opening it and because there were no hairdressers whatsoever in the property despite being advised there was one in every bedroom when I queried the day before we arrived. Should we have had an actual emergency it was a little disappointing that the owners were unreachable.
This was the nicest property that I’ve ever rented and can’t recommend it enough. The location was perfect and we had a most enjoyable stay.
Thank you so much
