Our beautiful 3-bedroom cabin located in Sunbreaker Cove Sylvan Lake. Nestled in a forest of trees and backing onto an environmental reserve giving you peace and tranquility. Our fully furnished cabin offers all the amenities for a memorable stay large vaulted living room , spacious kitchen, comfortable dining area easily seats 6 , and a 2 pc bathroom . With fireplace and main floor laundry room. The lower level has 3 good size bedrooms one queen , one double and bunk bed with double lower and single upper . The large cozy family room is perfect to snuggle -up to watch a movie with popcorn and snacks . To complete the lower level with a 4 pc bathroom . The front yard is surrounded by sky high spruce trees with an inviting firepit perfect for roasting marshmallows on a starry summer night . Close proximity to local beach -Glens Cove approximately 4 minute drive or 15 minutes to Sylvan Lake to enjoy an ice-cream treat at famous MOO'S. Book your vacation today !!

Host was excellent- knowledgeable about the area and great communication. Great walking trails and treeline views from the house. Master bedroom was comfortable. We had 5 adults tho - so not all bedrooms were the best to allow for that many adults sleeping arrangements. Great stay if you want to enjoy a quiet getaway while still allowing for a stroll to the busier Sylvan lake area.

Nice place to stay

This cabin is spacious and has lots of room to accommodate a family of six. We had a great stay minus the weather. The cabin has all the basic necessities provided, and the owner was pleasant to deal with.

We were visiting sylvan lake for hockey camp.. and although this property is a bit of a drive (16 minutes each way) it was a peaceful drive each morning... and the drive was worth it to stay out of the hustle and bustle of a busy vacation town. We enjoyed the beach and played catch in the open field at the beach and loved all the walking trails. It was rainy most of our stay and the house couldnt have been more perfect for a family to cozy up together in the evenings and play games.

Quiet retreat!

Darrel's place was exactly what we needed! Away from the hustle and bustle of life, but close enough to run into town for activities. Superior location to the boat launch, and a cute little sandy beach not far! My kids and I absolutely loved the location, lack of wasps, and the retreat!

Such a lovely time!

Darrell was great! This place was lovely and pretty private. Our whole family had a blast. We enjoyed access to the small beach and spent so much time just enjoying nature. The kitchen has your needs covered and the bedrooms stayed cool in 29° weather.

A peace of mind

We really enjoyed while our stay at the house. You will have a lot of space and privacy. Fireplace in the woods, grill, outdoor and indoor places to spend your time. The only lack we found is no WIFi. We've been there with a small kids so it was kinda tricky to connect our cameras, but except that it was a perfect place for us. It's close to the lake and the beach, a lot of trees around .

A great location for a family getaway!

This was the perfect location for a family getaway! The house had everything we needed to cook our own meals, relax and enjoy the location! Sunbreaker Cove is a beautiful spot with lots of walking trails, and is close to a cute little beach! It's also the perfect distance away from Sylvan Beach. Darrel was an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed, and was quick to respond to any questions. We will be back!

We had a really wonderful time at Sunbreaker Cove. The house was the perfect space for us, the kitchen is large and had all of them amenities we needed (we cooked all meals in it for the whole week we were there), there was space to put all the food we brought away, a large fridge, and a deep freeze. There was 6 of us and there was lots of space to hang out together as well as space to get away from each other if needed! We used the fire pit almost every night (there’s close by camping grounds that we got wood at). The host gave us the whole tour of where everything is and showed us the beach, which we drove to every day to simplify getting there and back with kids. We had a really wonderful vacation and I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Great little getaway.

Was a great little cottage nestled back in the woods in a beautiful little cottage community. Nicely decorated and all the non-food essentials in the kitchen. Toaster and kettle could come up a quality rung but they did the job. Excellent bang for your buck. WSA.

Had a great time. Very spacious house. Found the lack of blinds or curtains on all windows except one a little uncomfortable. Be sure to bring soap and shampoo - there were none for showering. The beach nearby is quite private with lots of sand and lawn space.

Weekend Stay

Great property in a quieter part of community, backing onto forest. Perfect for just relaxing in the garden while beach and boat launch are only 10minutes walk or 2minutes drive for lake access. We made good use of the fire pit, bbq and kitchen as well. The cool temperatures in the lower floor bedrooms were a definite plus during some very hot days. Darrel was super communicative during the booking and checking in process and also on hand at checkout.

Amazing Place for a Quick Getaway

We loved our stay at the Sylvan Lake-Sunbreaker Cove Elegant Retreat! The place is in a prime location for a very reasonable price. The beach is only a couple minutes away. The outdoor space is great and the cabin slept 6 adults very comfortably. We didn't have the best weather so we spent a fair amount of time inside or near the cabin and it has more than enough inside and out to keep everyone entertained! Darrel is one of the most caring and understanding owners I've had the pleasure to deal with as well. He gave us a thorough walkthrough at check-in and even showed us the best way to get to the beach! Also he was great with communication and really cared about our stay. It was refreshing to see.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the woods

Absolutely lovely property. The owner Darrel is very friendly and accommodating. Always available if I had any questions. The only thing that I would say that we found disappointing is that we found the outside practicality unusable due to the condition of the outdoor furniture and amount of spiderwebs on everything. Yes, the house is located in the woods and spiders are inevitable but the amount of webs that covered every surface looks as though they have building up for quite a while. That is the only thing we found that we were not comfortable with. Other than that you will really enjoy your stay at this adorable cabin. I would definitely go again.
