Very quaint accommodations in an ideal location.

We had 4 adults and 3 children for a long weekend. The house is beautiful and quaint. It is 3 floors with 2 bedrooms per floor. There is one bathroom. The layout of the kitchen is a bit odd as the sink is located in an adjacent room. The refrigerator is also located in this room behind the door. You must enter the adjoining room and close the door before you can access the refrigerator. The host was quick to respond to any inquiries via the VRBO app or WhatsApp. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Thank you for your stay and review David! I’m pleased you liked the house! It’s an 18th century house so an old wash room is used as a utility with the sink and fridge and washing machine, next to the kitchen! One makes the most of the space :-) I am so pleased you had an enjoyable stay.

Lovely seaside home

The property was absolutely ideal for my family and dogs when visiting Portland for a friends wedding. Helen was a very good host who responded quickly to communciation. The property was very clean and the decor has that lovely seaside charm. It catered to all our needs and a travel cot was provided for young children. The secure garden was brilliant for our dogs and young children, had the weather been better we would have used it a bit more. The location of the property is within very close proximity of a pub with nice food and the local Co-op is not far away. If you're lucky enough to get a space you can park free outside the house but if not there is plenty of free parking elsewhere. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Thank you.

Hi Richard and colleagues I am so sorry that the shower had a leak while you were staying at the house. You were so patient and thoughtful, it was much appreciated at such an embarrassing time. The shower part has been completely replaced since, I wish it could have happened before your arrival.
