South of Dolphin Cottage and only 13 miles away is Whitley Bay with a wonderful promenade leading onto Tynemouth with miles of beaches, cafes, and a wonderful place to spend the day. After a day out you can relax in the rear enclosed yard or sit out the front or wander round to one of the benches and look out to sea, watching the activities down in the bay.

Family holiday at Newbiggin by the sea
Property was exactly as advertised. In a quiet area where parking was no problem. Communication with owners was effortless. House had obviously been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival and the personal touches were most appreciated. The welcome pack with milk tea and coffee was excellent. Also the supply fruit, toilet rolls, cleaning goods was great too. Loved the area and hope to return
