Located on the ground floor (but with steps), the Restalrig Apartment, with free Wifi and free on-street parking, welcomes two guests maximum.

The one-bedroom apartment features a fully equipped kitchen with a two-seater breakfast table, while a dining table and chairs can be found in the living room.

The apartment is located in a residential building, so late check-ins are not possible - 2200hrs being the latest.

This is not a party flat. CCTV protected (cameras located externally obviously!).

Maximum number of guests: Two (2) for licencing, fire & insurance reasons. Extra guests are strictly forbidden and the booking will be cancelled.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Once the apartment door is locked: For ease please put the keys into the black wallmounted post box (beside the apartment door). i.e. there is no need to put the keys back into the key safe.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours: 2300hrs to 0730hrs. If you need to arrive or leave within these hours please be VERY quiet. Please do NOT book if you cannot be quiet.
The smoling area is in the front garden (not the back garden). Fire assembly point is at the Scotmid grocery shop - across the road.
Please advise us of any guests who have a disability which could potentially impede their evacuation in the event of an emergency at the property.

We had an excellent stay at Susan’s apartment. Location was great - so close to city centre, it was perfectly clean, so well equipped including high quality kitchen utensils etc, very quiet, excellent info on everything including cheaper bus travel, and Susan answered any queries within minutes. Highest recommendation if staying in Edinburgh!

I received personal emails from the host, Susan, the most important of which was letting me know about the EU visas I would need. I haven’t traveled abroad in so long I had no clue. She saved our behinds. Great location for the property with wonderful amenities. Walkable to the Royal Mile and Portobello Beach. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, grocery store and bakery right across the street. bus stop as well. Very cozy and had everything we needed. Our host Susan was great. 5 stars is not enough to describe her level of communication and helpfulness. Within a few hours of booking we had an email from her with information about. the area, transportation, tour options, food etc. We have used VRBO to book for over 20 years, all over the world, and this was by far THE best booking and stay we have had.

This was an amazing stay! The hospitality and the communication was fantastic. The place is near a bus stop so we did not have to navigate driving in Edinburgh. There’s a store across the street. It was quiet. And beautiful. But most of all the host was incredible!

Susans place is super cozy and had everything one could need. Lovely place, great location

Lovely flat hosted by a very nice lady who kept us well informed. Nice and clean with plenty of space for the two of us. Situated a quick 10 minute bus journey into the centre of Edinburgh and opposite a well stocked Co-op.
