Apartment in Ötz near Hochoetz Ski Area

At the entrance to the Ötztal valley lies the village of Ötz, which gave the valley its name. The holiday home is located in Ötzerau, about 2 km above the cosy village of Ötz. It is a working farm, so you have the opportunity to enjoy fresh products directly from the farmer. The apartment for up to six people extends over the 1st and 2nd floor. There are two bedrooms are on the 1st floor and kitchen, living room, and another bedroom on the 2nd floor. The landlords are very child-friendly! Laundry service is also available upon request. From your accommodation, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape, which is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes in summer. In winter, skiers meet in the Hochoetz ski area with 27 km of slopes. This is ideal for families and beginners. Snowboarders are sure to get their money's worth in the fun park at the Bielefelder Hütte. Enjoy undiminished skiing fun with the "Super Ski Pass" for the ski areas Hochoetz, Niederthai, Kühtai and Sölden. A total of 220 km of slopes and 60 modern lifts are included in this ski pass. The ski bus stops close to the house. Fun Park AREA 47, which is located at the entrance to the Ötztal, is just the thing for those seeking action!

Leider ist es in die Jahre gekommen nicht zeitgemäß waren die Toilette und die Dusche die beide separat in einer Abseite / Kammer waren. Das zweite WC auf dem Flur hatte kein warm Wasser zum Händewaschen. Jedoch waren die Betten sehr gut von der Größe und der Matratze. Ein Zimmer war sehr eng jedoch die anderen beiden Zimmer ausreichend Platz .Die Küche war sehr klein das Geschirr hinter einer Sitzbank an der man zwar zu 6 essen konnte es jedoch so beengt war das es nicht gemütlich ist. Kein Geschirrspüler leider Abwasch im Urlaub ein Minus für uns persönlich. Die Vermieter wohnen mit im Haus alles sehr offen die unteren Zimmer sind auf dem Flur so das es sein kann das man die Vermieter und die Familie dazu auch mal im Schlüppie aufm Weg zum Klo sieht . Alles im einem Preis war für Ötz günstig jedoch ist es halt auch nicht in Ötz direkt Busverkehr besteht jedoch sehr wenige Zeiten abends gar nicht man muss dann immer mit dem Auto los da in der Nähe keine Gastronomie ist.

Prachtig gelegen en schoon appartement. Vriendelijke eigenaar met wie je de locatie deelt. Ruime slaapkamers met grote bedden. Woonkamer met balkon boven in het huis zodat je van het prachtige uitzicht kunt genieten. Er mag gebruik gemaakt worden van het terras beneden met meubilair. Keuken en douche zijn basic, maar voldoen prima.

Het huis ligt op een bijzonder mooie locatie. Vanaf het balkon en forse terras kijk je aan alle zijden tegen indrukwekkende bergketens aan. Het huis is goed bereikbaar maar voor boodschappen moet je wel 2 km afdalen naar Oetz. Geen probleem met de auto maar lopend niet eenvoudig gezien de steile weg. Het huis zelf is gelegen op de eerste verdieping (slaapkamers) en de tweede verdieping (slaapkamer, woonkamer, keukentje, kleine doucheruimte, toilet en smal lang balkon met zitje. Alles wat je praktisch gezien nodig hebt is aanwezig. Echter het ontbreken van een afzuigkap was tijdens ons warme verblijf een gemis. Het werd onaangenaam warm in de keuken waar geen deur in zit. Dus de warmte en etensgeuren verspreidden zich over de gehele bovenverdieping. Tevens ontbreekt er een vaatwasmachine. Niet onoverkomelijk, maar wel onpraktisch. Verder zijn de bedden op z'n zachts gezegd vrij hard. Iets waar wij aan moesten wennen. De eigenaresse en haar man zijn erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het huis is verder schoon en er zijn voldoende handdoeken aanwezig. In de directe omgeving is erg veel te doen. Met de Oetztalcard kan je van veel dingen zoals bergliften, zwembaden en OV gratis gebruikmaken. De investering heb je snel terugverdiend aangezien bergliften vaak erg prijzig zijn. Verder raden wij aan om een bezoekje te brengen aan het Kaunertal (40 min rijden). Een niet toeristisch dal vol natuurschoon en prachtige vergezichten. Alles met elkaar een dikke voldoende.

Zeer mooie omgeving en uitzicht. De accommodatie was prima. Vriendelijke eigenaren wonen beneden, waardoor de privacy niet optimaal is. De zolderetage is wel geheel privé. Woonkamer, keuken en douche zijn klein. Alles is zeer schoon! Vlees kopen bij de eigenaar is zeer aan te raden.

Skiurlaub auf dem Bauernhof

Wir (drei erwachsene Freunde) hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und insgesamt recht einfach, aber ausreichend eingerichtet. Man kann sich für 10€ pro Platte eine super Auswahl an leckerem selbstgemachtem und geräuchertem Schinken, Speck, Kaminwurz, Tiroler Salami usw. kaufen. Absolut zu empfehlen! Dementsprechend muss man aber auch mit dem ständigen Geruch des Räucherofens und des Bauernhofs umgehen können. Die Lage zum Skifahren ist auch gut. Die Skibushaltestelle ist ca. 200m entfernt und nach kurzem Bergauf erreichbar. Von hier aus fahren die Busse nach Oetz, Ochsengarten und bis nach Kühtai. Der Bauernhof liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen Oetz und Ochsengarten. Vielen Dank an Familie Prantl/Zangerl für den tollen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Juppi, Alex und Frank
