It is a wonderful experience to stay at Pieve di Campoli in Tuscany

It is a wonderful experience to stay at Pieve di Campoli in Tuscany. It is very genuine, calm, and offers solitude and great views. We had a great time in between fantastic excursions to various Tuscan towns and hamlets.

Great but perhaps too rustic

The property was absolutely beautiful and proximate to Siena long with many other amazing vineyards. We didn't travel further than 15 mins to visit all the wineries while we were there. The host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and while we were there, Damiano was easily accessible via WhatsApp. My criticism is that the apartment was not stocked with any basics. It was lacking handsoap, hand towels or paper towels in the kitchen, cooking oil, salt, seasoning and even trash bags. We ended up buying much of these items during our 4-night minimum stay. That was disappointing to me. Additionally, although through VRBO we were explicit at booking that we had an infant, that detail did not translate to the booking paperwork at the property. Our family was late to check in after having issues in Florence. Our friends checked in for us and when we arrived, the crib was not in our room. It ended up being a crazy night with our 1.5 year old. I would still recommend this place because of proximity to many amazing sites, the friendliness and cleanliness of the property but suggest that they add some of the basics to stay especially considering they require a 4 night minimum.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison de Pieve di Campoli. Superbe terrasse avec vue sur le vignoble, belle piscine qui permet de se rafraichir en fin de journée (et qui était très appréciée avec la canicule!). Les cuisines sont généralement bien équipées. Seul bémol est qu'il manque d'endroits pour s'assoir et se reposer. Dans le grand salon il y avait une table et quelques chaises mais aucun fauteuil/divan plus confortable. Nous avons passé la majorité du temps dehors sur la terrasse donc ça va. Par ailleurs, Michele et Damiano sur place sont super gentils et d'excellents hôtes. Nous recommanderions cet endroit à des amis sans hésiter.

Das Haus selbst befindet sich in wunderschöner Lage mitten in den Wein- und Olivenhainen. Es liegt separat aber trotzdem nicht zu entlegen, man ist in ein paar hundert Metern an die Straße angebunden. Die Ausstattung ist gepflegt und man hat genug Platz um sich auszubreiten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
