About this property

Charming Upper Floor Apartment With Aircon For Up To 4 People

The property (57 m²) accommodates up to 4 people and has air conditioning. There is an open-plan kitchen/lounge, two bedrooms, a shower room and separate toilet. The front bedroom has a double bed and the rear bedroom has two single beds. (Please note: Towels and bed linen are not included and may be hired at the time of booking. To see details click on 'Rates/View All Prices'). A reduction is offered for longer rentals (10% for 4 weeks).

Come and visit the beautiful town of Port-Vendres and neighbouring Collioure, just half an hour's walk away (or a short trip on the one euro bus). Enjoy the Mediterranean sea air, mountain views and sunshine in this lovely part of southern France, less than 20 kilometers away from Spain.

The house has a sunny south-west facing location and an elevated position with views across Port-Vendres. It is in a quiet area, close to the sea, and the nearest bars, restaurants and shops are couple of hundred metres away. The nearest supermarket and beach are 10 minutes walking distance away.

The open plan kitchen/living areas is simply and comfortably furnished in contemporary style. It has a sink, cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, dining table and chairs for 6 people. The lounge area has two-seater settee, two armchairs and a 32” TV.

The bathroom has a wash basin and a spacious shower (100 x 80 cm) with bi-fold doors. The toilet is separate and there is also a washing machine. There is a covered entrance to the property, suitable for sitting in, hanging washing, or leaving rucksacks and other items.

Visitors are advised that the property is accessed via steps and is therefore not suitable for people with disabilities or very young children.

There is no private parking, but there is unrestricted on-street parking nearby with adequate spaces and in peak summer there are more spaces a few minutes walk away (towards Lidl). J'ai envie de revenir.

Il ne manque rien, tout est conforme à la description. On se sent comme chez soi. Très propre et très soigné. L'accès au centre ville, au port, aux commerces et au marché se fait à pied. Quartier très calme. Attention toutefois aux marches d'escalier de la montée si vous êtes très chargés. Accueil très agréable fait par Paulina. J'ai envie d'y revenir.

Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Kontaktperson vor Ort ist sehr zuvorkommend. Port Vendres hat Flair und ist nicht zu sehr überlaufen. Der Ein-Euro-Bus ist super. Wir haben ihn mehrfach benutzt.

Why they chose this property

After visiting Port-Vendres a number of times, this area of the village was favoured for its south-west facing location. The upstairs windows have views south towards the port (visiting ships just visible), to Madeloc tower on the distant hill and westward to the rest of the town and the setting sun.
