my daughter was getting married in newell and this property was within 2 miles of her wedding it was as beautiful backdrop for her wedding photos with the black hills in the background . We were able to easily have 8 adults and 2 kids there it was very well stocked 2 washers and dryers were also available. although we could not get netflix to work on the tv we were able to connect to the wifi . I hope to stay there in the future seeing it is so close to my daughter
The property was clean and very well equipped. I enjoyed that it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, while still being only a few minutes from gas, groceries, and a couple restaurants.
Out of the way and quiet area. Cabin was beautiful and cozy with everything you need while grocery and gas is close by. Great fire pit and perfect area to star gaze. Highly recommended.
Quiet, peaceful, picturesque view out windows. L
Loved the book corner and the comfortable beds. Wished the weather would have cooperated so we could have tried the firepit. Great place for a family reunion.
We enjoyed our stay, everything was as described. It was hot during the day, but cooled off quickly at night. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the wildlife.
This home was absolutely amazing!!!! It was bigger than the pictures let on. The amenities were amazing. We brought a bunch of stuff we thought would not be there and the house already had it. The fire pit was amazing for s'mores. The upstairs rooms were amazing as well as the downstairs rooms. We loved this place because it was outside of the big city and enough room for my family of 8. We were not on top of each other and had space to rest and unwind. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are up this way.
It was far away from everything, but that was wonderful. it was a peaceful getaway. It was an hour or so from all of the state parks. The only issue was there was only one AC unit in a room upstairs. When we arrived we were afraid there was none. The temperature in SD was 93-99 degrees during our stay. Thankfully the windows had screens, but it was still hot. Overall we had a great time. I would recommend staying here.
Great country setting and location with beautiful scenery and ample wildlife to watch
Nice and close too town, beautiful country setting with gorgeous trees. Awesome sunrises and sunsets from the patio! It’s an outdoor paradise for anyone looking to get away from the city feeling. Would love to stay here again soon!
We (3 couples) loved our stay! We each had our own room and space. Nights and morning were so beautiful and quiet. We rode our motorcycles and had a short drive on dirt and only a half hour from Sturgis.
We would definitely stay again!
We had a group of guys out on a hunting trip and stayed here. Easy access to main highways that lead to thousands of acres of public land. Great place for a hunting trip!
This was great place to stay. A few glitches but all in all it fit our needs perfectly.

We wanted a place that was not in the hills, this property definitely was all that. The place needs some updates. Some parts look as though they weren’t completed during construction.
I had to clean the coffee maker. It hadn’t been emptied or cleaned since the last renter. Wet plates in the cupboard. Many filthy cups in the cupboard. Upstairs toilet didn’t flush well. Cabin had a smell upstairs, couldn’t find what it was, but it stunk.

I am sorry you were not pleased with the cleanliness of the house. Our normal cleaning person was on vacation before your arrival.
