Escape To Mayo - Spacious 6-bedroom house near Killala on Wild Atlantic Way

Comfortable, spacious holiday home 3 mins drive from the historic coastal village of Killala, in North Mayo, or 10 mins cycle along adjacent "Monasteries of the Moy" Greenway. Free high-speed wifi included.

Close to the bustling town of Ballina on the River Moy and other local attractions such as Ceide Fields, Wild Nephin National Park and various beaches. Plenty to see and do.

The house is well equipped, with 5 main bedrooms (4 ensuites) and one additional private double sofa bedroom which can also be used as a 3rd TV room if necessary. We can sleep 10-14 depending on configuration of adults and children as we have an additional inflatable and camper bed. Cot and high chairs also available on request. Amenities include table tennis, pool table, basketball, badminton, sizeable garden and outdoor areas for recreation/socialising.

The Dove Experience

Six women ages 41-77 from Kentucky USA stayed in this lovely place September 2023. It is wonderful and a great place to stay. Everything promised and MORE. We felt so welcomed and appreciated. Would LOVE to return ASAP. Don’t hesitate to come enjoy!

Great house

We had a fantastic time staying at Dove House. From the very generous welcome pack and Paul's very useful information on local amenities to all that was available to use in the house. Our two teenage boys were well entertained with basketball, boxing, bikes, tennis, pool and more.This house has alot to offer, large rooms, space to cater for big groups and lots to do. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Family holday in scenic North Mayo

The house was brilliant, really spacious and so well equipped with everything you could need. Nice garden, pool table, bikes, games...for all ages, strong WiFi, TV etc. Hosts very helpful and got provisions in for us. Lovely countryside and scenery, great to have greenway paths direct from the house, you can walk to the town with nice pubs/cafe (village Inn bar food, Golden Acres), Ross Beach beautiful and had a swim there, wild Atlantic way coastal road and Downpatrick head is stunning, Ballina town good traditional music and bars. We had an amazing hoiday!

Amazing place for family break

Really enjoyed our stay at dove House and would highly recommend it. We've a large family and this place suited us so well. It was big, clean and had activities to suit everyone. The town is around a 5 minute drive and there are plenty of activities near by. Paul was so helpful and gave us loads of info. Would happily stay again

We are a family who love to travel. We also have our own holiday home in beautiful Mayo which we like to stay in as often as possible. We hope visitors will get as much enjoyment out of their stays as we have.

Why they chose this property

We picked this property because it is next to a greenway that will be expanded further in the coming years and within walking distance of the ocean. The lovely town of Killala is a short drive or cycle and a reasonable walk and it has all the basic necessities. There are beaches nearby and water-based activities by the ocean and on lakes. Ballina has a full range of amenities and is ten minutes away.

What makes this property unique

The distinctive benefit of our holiday home is the number of people who can stay together at once. The house is flexibly arranged so that additional sleeping quarters can be provided or TV rooms/office space. So it is ideal for groups of close friends or family members who want to meet up but don't have the space at home. The high speed internet means that people who need to can work from our holiday home for as long as they like while the rest of the family relax. We have also provided additional recreational space outdoors which would appeal to older children especially.
