No. 5 of Monchiero Alto was a perfect home to stay in while exploring the Langhe region of Piedmont. Unlike many rental options, it feels like a real home, not a vacation rental. We loved waking up to church bells and views of the distant alps on clear mornings. The hosts promptly responded to our questions, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to enjoy their lovely home in this beautiful region of Italy.
in out 30+ stays, I would say that our host was by far the best communicator and made the stay fantastic. The house is wonderful, has comfortable beds, great sitting areas, incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and hill top towns, and is close to many very nice restaurants. The kitchen was well appointed and we made many Wonderful meals there. The evening breezes cooled the house nicely and it was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely look to stay here again if we have the chance to make it back to Piedmont/Langhe area.
