Pino was a delightful host, he met us as we arrived and carried our luggage into the house. Lots of free coffee and snacks were waiting for us. The place was clean and spacious. The master bedroom shower was amazing! Grat stay!
Best Choice when Visiting the Langhe Valley and Wine Country!
We absolutely felt comfortable in this lovingly restored home near the center of La Morra. Pino and his wife were amazing hosts, met us when we arrived and he was even able to save us a parking space near the house to make it easier to unload our bags. Everything was absolutely clean and comfortable along with small comforts such as snacks for morning, coffee, and little touches like a chocolate on the pillow and dog bowls for our small dog. It just showed how much the hosts care about their guests. They helped with dinner reservations, recommendations for our visit, and gave us a small gift upon our departure. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Piedmont Langhe Valley wine country. Pino and his wife make you feel as if you are staying with family and the town of La Morra is so quaint with beautiful views of the valley and great restaurants. We hope to return soon!
It was hard to decide between restaurant options and staying on property with our own wine to simply enjoy the view of the rolling hills, not to mention the gardens on the well kept property itself, so we did both! The tender, loving care bestowed upon the villa by Claudia and Livio over 20 years is apparent in every furnishing and every bloom… we even found ourselves greeted with classical music in the lobby and handwritten notes that added to the charm of the experience. It was a great pleasure to connect with our gracious hosts, but also to enjoy the perfect launching location for our Borolo winery adventures. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay, and hope to return as we haven’t nearly exhausted all the good advice we received about visiting the area OR the wonderful things it has to offer. You’ll enjoy the peace, convenience and beauty. It’s a great pick! Get started with Cantina Stroppiana, a winery just a block away!
