Perfect for a wedding weekend

We had a big group of 12 stay for a wedding nearby at the local Château le Mas de Montet. The property was perfect for our needs with spacious rooms. All the utensils were provided for cooking etc and they have a big outdoor BBQ. Only negative I'd mention is hot water ran out quickly - but I'm not sure there's much that can be done about that.

Thank you for your feedback Will, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the house. We ourselves held our wedding at Le Mas de Montet, it's a very special place. I'll talk to the plumber about the hot water, it's never been an issue in the past, we have a large hot water tank heated simultaneously by the boiler and by an electric filament - either way a simple fix :-)

The property was everything we hoped for and more, with the pool being the highlight. It comfortably accommodated our party of 13 aged from 1 to 80 (8 adults and 5 children). It was very well equipped especially the kitchen.Jon gave very comprehensive and prompt answers to various questions before our arrival.One slight negative comment. The consensus among our party was that removal of waste should not be the guest's responsibility, although during our stay bins were emptied as scheduled so it did not cause us a problem.

Family holiday and wedding

From the moment I booked Jon ensured we were aware of the occuoancy of the villa as we were at capacity.he answered all my questions before arriving and was so helpful. Now for the villa. All I can say is WOW. What a fantastic home. Immaculately clean and all rooms are so spacious.The pool and games room for the kids and older kids lol was perfect. Ian and Catherine who responded to our whatsapp straight away with advice. Then catherine also gave us recommendations for the local area. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone as the all round experience was just top class. Thank you.

We had an excellent time at Jon's property, visiting as two young families. The place is clean and spacious and feels very homey. We really appreciated how well-stocked it was, especially with kids things! The pool is fantastic and the surrounding grassy area and play house were used daily. We also loved being walking distance into town and the nearby river beach. We didn't need to get into the car once.Also, the AC was an absolute life saver over the 40 degree heat wave. Thank you Jon and family!

The house, pool and yard were lovely, and the location was great. Just walk up the road (albeit very steep road) and you are in the area for restaurants and shops. Loved our four nights there!

Toute notre grande famille a passé une excellente semaine dans cette vaste maison, agréable, confortable et bien équipée, correspondant parfaitement à l'annonce.L'appartement du rez-de-jardin a été particulièrement apprécié pour sa fraicheur et l'accès direct à la piscine.Située au pied du charmant village d'Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, face à un petit bois et à proximité de la rivière, nous recommandons cette location.

Magnifique Maison

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à la Maison Fleurie. Nous étions 4 couples avec enfants, tout l'équipement sur place était suffisant pour un tel groupe, ce n'est pas toujours le cas ! Les chambres très agréables et spacieuses. Salles de bains très sympa. Le coin barbecue très fonctionnel et suffisamment grand pour 14 personnes. La grande piscine et l'environnement extérieur sont superbes, un régal ! Merci pour le petit plateau à l'arrivée et les baguettes de pain, le petit + qui fait très plaisir :-) Nous espérons trouver une date pour pouvoir revenir. Emilie & Grégory
