For a luxury property, it could have done with a lot of TLC. The pool was great, but furniture, both outside & in needed attention - the dining room chairs needed fixing, 2 of the sun loungers needed screws tightening to prevent collapse. The towels & bedding were changed regularly & bins emptied, which was great, but initially we had no tea towels or foot mats in the shower rooms - they came on the 2nd linen change (we had not made a complaint).They stopped giving top sheets on the last 2 changes, so we had to grab sheets from the spare beds.The garden needed a good tidy & didn't look much better after "the annual garden tidy" half way through our stay. Despite house sparrows nesting in the roof, the balconies & pool surround weren't hosed down on the midstay clean. There was no furniture on the many balconies to enable us to use them easily, we moved chairs from the outside kitchen to the lounge balcony in order to appreciate the views across Heraklion in the evenings (The views around the property were spectaclier).Most things were niggly annoyances & didn't prevent us enjoying our holiday & our time there - it's just not expected in a "luxury" property.The major problem was the water temperature & water pressure in the showers. This did impact us. It took 15-20 minutes sometimes for hot water to come through & when it came through the pressure dropped so low that the shower lever wouldn't stay up so cold water had to be added & so the best temperature was tepid.
