Abbey Mews Bath Georgian Townhouse

This beautiful Georgian townhouse in the heart of Bath is a short walk from all the major tourist sites, restaurants, shops & bars. Abbey Mews is a historic listed holiday home & has been awarded a special '4 star Gold' by VisitBritain in recognition of 'excellence'. Once home to the elite Georgian Society enjoying Bath for 'the season', now an ideal retreat for families & friends, reunions & celebrations including hen weekends all enjoyed in the heart of this historic city in a beautiful four bedroom house with plenty of room to entertain large groups.
Now an important listed building, Abbey Mews was first built for the elite of Georgian society. You will love the wonderful bathroom upstairs, I would like to think that our beds are the most comfortable. The Georgian style dining room is an exceptional space to dine in. There is a well equipped kitchen with french doors leading out to a lovely patio. On the ground floor is a grand drawing room with large windows overlooking the scenic cobbled street.

Sleeps 8 in four bedrooms, guest 9 & 10 on separate single pull out beds (69x183cm). Rates are based on 2 guests sharing a king or twin bedroom (extra linen fee applied for additional beds); one bedroom is a king and three bedrooms are super kings or twins as preferred. The family bathroom with bath and separate shower is on the first floor and a shower room is on the lower ground floor. There is also a charming patio with table and chairs.

The house has is located in the heart of Bath, and is the perfect place from which to explore the city; your host (owner managed) will attend to special requests and help you to plan your stay.

Really enjoyable mums weekend away - super well-equipped house. Loved the little garden terrace for early evening drinks and breakfast. A couple of great takeaways on the doorstep (Nepalese and Thai)

A lovely old house with plenty of character. 4 x decent sized double rooms and great reception rooms. Decent kitchen with self catering facilities. Great location to access Bath (1 minute walk). Car parking close by too. Very friendly and helpful host too (regularly in touch before, during and after the stay)

Perfect for family birthday and celebration in West Somerset

This was a central place for siblings from West Somerset to join in celebrating an 80th birthday. While the weather was climate-unfriendly not, the 4 couples completely enjoyed this easily navigated, centrally located, well decorated, and comfortable house made the day (and the other 4days) despite the dust from the proximate building site. The personal chef for the big day also commented on how agreeable the house was. Thank you.

Birthday in Bath

I had a party of 10 to stay over a weekend in Bath to celebrate my birthday . The house was beautiful and spacious . We all slept well - very comfortable beds .Our host had thought of everything . The kitchen had enough crockery and cutlery for all of us and condiments, coffee etc . The location was perfect for accessing the town centre and we could walk everywhere . Would definitely recommend it to a friend and am likely to book it again . Excellent value for money . Thank you ☺️

The house is elegant and comfortable with detailed decor to reflect its Georgian heritage. This is the perfect base for friends and family to explore the city. Right in the heart of Bath, the location affords guests the luxury of nipping back to drop shopping or get changed for the next outing! What I love about Bath is the Georgian architecture and the convenience of having a city that can be enjoyed on foot, yet with magical countryside and woodland walks just moments away. The shopping and eateries are exceptional. The atmosphere when you step out on to Pierrepont Place is breathtaking; you feel like you have stepped in to a film set; all a few steps away from the shops and the Abbey.
