a spacious house in a small, welcoming village a few miles from Courmayeur
First, we would emphasize that your potential host, Tina Macri, is really nice and helpful. She is usually in town and available if something goes wrong. The kitchen is pretty well equipped, so yuo can cook at home. Furnishings are rustic, which is appropriate for a ski town. You cannot park right at the house, but we always found parking in a free lot about 100 meters away. Public transportation is available to Courmayeur if needed.
On the downside, potential guests should be aware that the upstairs bathroom has a "low bridge", so bumping a head is a possibility unless you are careful. Also, two of the bedrooms--those with bunk beds, are pretty small, but then again kids would probably not mind that. We also could not find any English language programs on TV.
All in all, we would recommend Tina's house and would happily stay there again.
