We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was stunning, well equipped and very comfortable but be aware of the sometimes uneven staircases. The hot tub was a bonus! It took about 25 minutes to walk into the centre of Chester. There were shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance of the house. We'd definitely recommend staying here.
Beautifully decorated, surprisingly spacious, comfortable house, a 30- minute walk from Chester’s historic centre. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen were well received.
Lovely accommodation in a nice area. Could walk into the centre and the accomodation was well thought out and you could tell that the owners really cared about their property and that you were well looked after.
The host Andrew was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, the property is in an amazing location it is easy to walk into the city or catch a bus as we did. We went for New Year and cooked a large roast dinner for 6 of us and we had everything we could need to do this.
We throughly enjoyed our stay , we had good communication with the owners and the cottage was very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem and it is in a quiet area but very handy for Chester which is a lovey town .The hot tub was great and was used every day .
A lovely house to accommodate a group of friends for a weekend of chatting, food and shopping. All mod cons and an environmental hot tub. Great experience
We had a fab few days in Chester. The house is beautifully finished to a high standard and overall cleanliness is really high. It was really hot when we were there so removed some of the duvets from the covers and the underneath duvets were also as white as the covers themselves showing how clean it all is.Location is good. We walked into Chester and got a cab back. The walk is probably about 30 mins but we had young kids so took a bit longer and cab back was about 5 mins so very close. The river is less than 5 mins away with a nice playground. The house is well equipped with plenty of everything in it including fans in each room which were very welcome given the temperature was over 30 degrees!
The satnav was not accurate for the property. I recommend knowing the property is located at the corner of Dee Banks & Bachelors Lane. There were fans in the bedrooms, but none on the ground level where it was difficult to open windows for cross breeze in the heat wave. There is a bathroom with small shower on ground level; large full bathroom on first floor as well as 1 queen bedroom & 1 double size bedroom. On the 2nd level via narrower steps are a double size bedroom & bedroom with 2 single beds. The Old Post Office is a nice place with the best street parking on Bachelors Lane. We were 6 seniors staying for 3 nights & enjoyed ourselves visiting Chester.
We have just come home from the most amazing weekend staying in this beautiful property. The hosts were so helpful in booking and any questions we had. The house was spotless and had everything you could have wanted. A perfect location to explore Chester and have a relaxing weekend. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
