Lovely location overlooking the water in an elevated position. Property was roomy & ideal for us with 2 dogs. Modern well equipped kitchen& comfortable lounge. Mattress in main bedroom was however not the best. Overall we enjoyed our stay & this picturesque corner of Scotland

Amazing destination
We had a fabulous stay. The views are amazing and the village is picturesque.
Loved the treats left for us and our furry friends.
We will definitely be back.
We had a great first visit to the Cowel Peninsula! Arthur’s Seat was as described with wonderful views! Osborne’s down the road is our new favorite! It was great to meet the owner too!
Booked 2 houses for a family weekend. My brother and his family stayed at Arthur's Seat. They said it was comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Good facilities, little welcome gifts, and the view from the patio was amazing! They had a fantastic stay.

The steps up to the property are fairly challenging, but we were warned of this by the owner before booking.

Lovely little cottage.
We both loved this little cottage with grand views over the Firth of Clyde, worth the climb up the steep stone steps! We managed them and we are in our late 70's though fairly fit. The cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable and the support we had from the owners was excellent. It is well placed for visits around the lovely Cowal peninsula. There is a well stocked shop and two hotels serving food within walking distance. We would go back there anytime.

What a gem! Dolphin watching from the patio!
We stayed for a week while working in Dunoon, and loved it so much we booked again for the following week.
Such a pretty, quaint little cottage set high up off the road. The stairs are definately worth the climb to relax on the patio, overlooking the water. We were lucky enough to see 10 dolphins swimming past one morning while sat with a coffee! Even if the weather is poor, you can still appreciate the view from all windows!
Great little property, feels very private, has everything you need plus amazing views and a beautiful area to explore on the doorstep.
Very kind thoughtful hosts. The steps up to it are not for the faint-hearted.. be careful.! No other access. Really loved wee Arthur and will recommend! And hopefully return!

So good we came back!
What can I say, this little gem was perfect. So much so that we rebooked a second week!
Clean, comfortable, lovely little home from home with views to die for.
The little treats were a nice touch, and the owners are only at the end of the phone if you have any problems.
Book now! You won't be disappointed!

Lovely anniversary break
Had a wonderful stay at Arthur’s Seat Cottage in Innellan for our recent 21st Anniversary break,
The property is simply stunning , nestled in the hill on the shore line road with amazing views of the Clyde from the beautiful garden terrace.
Very serene and peaceful in such tranquil setting, a great base to explore Dunoon and the Argyle Forrest with Benmore Gardens a short drive away.
Pucks Glen was another favourite like walking onto a film set of Lord of The Rings this enchanting mystical gorge deep in woods is an absolute must visit place, as was Inveraray with its castle and historic city 17th century jail.
Overall a fantastic break in a beautiful part of the world that is West coast Scotland.

It felt like home
Arthur’s Seat gave us everything we wanted! Yes, the steps up are steep but adds to the charm of the cottage and rewarded with the most spectacular view when you reach the cottage. Perfect for 2 and great location. Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable home from home stay. Communication with the owners was easy and friendly. We fell in love with the area and the added bonus of how friendly the people are. Looking to return later in the year and eventually move permanently! We’re looking to move to Kintyre but South Cowal has completely won us over. Turns out my mother went to school in Dunoon which I never knew! Clearly A SIGN! Highly recommend ❤️
Super Aussicht aufs Wasser, super sauber, alles tiptop.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage
We loved our second stay in Arthur's Seat. The views are out of this world and we made great use of the garden this time as the weather was perfect. The cottage has everything you need and we and our 2 spaniels feel really at home there. It was a perfect break and we have already booked our next stay.
Had a lovely week at Arthur's seat. Wonderful views if you have the weather with you. That will not put us off booking again.
Cottage is small for four adults, but had everything we needed. Has a super shower.
Owner was very responsive and was with us within 5 minutes when I couldn't get the heating to come on.
Outside area has seeting area and family picnic table to eat outdoors.
Brilliant base to explore Argyll.
Definately recommend, and we look forward to returning.
Me and my dog Angel stayed here the views you were fantastic the location is quiet and relaxing
This was my first time renting through vrbo the whole process simple from the property was exactly as described. If you're looking to visit places on the west coast this is an excellent place to do it although Dunoon appeared to be a very quiet place which is a shame because it is a really nice location. I will certainly recommend this property to other people and I would book again in the future.
