Arthur's Seat is a wonderful two bedroom cottage set in the picturesque village of Innellan within the Cowal Peninsula, gateway to the Scottish Highlands. Nestled on an elevated position on the waterfront the cottage boasts the most spectacular sea views. The steps up to the cottage is not for the faint hearted but it is worth every step for the views and location.
The cottage offers quality self catering accommodation for up to four guests. Ideal for a couple or a small family. If you are an adventure seeker or an outdoor enthusiast this is the place to be.
Tastefully designed with flair and charm, the cottage is superbly equipped with all the modern comforts and more. The dining table consists of a foldaway table, or in the summer months there is furniture available for outdoor dining.
The spacious living room features comfortable sofas and small window seat to soak up the stunning sea views. For entertainment there is free Wifi and a large Smart TV plus a large selection of autobiography novels to read.
The kitchen is fitted with all your modern appliances featuring a fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, and washing machine.
Bedrooms
Featuring a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both individually furnished with quality linen. There is a family bathroom with a walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet.
Bedroom 1: Large double bed with, wardrobe, bedside tables, sea views.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds, TV, dresser cupboard, bedside table, side sea views.
Modern family bathroom features walk-in shower cubicle, hand basin, mirror and heated towel rail.
Outside
Your own haven to enjoy with outdoor furniture in several positions, a lovely terrace garden and magnificent far-reaching sea views. The cottage is accessed by 34 steps to the middle landing and 20 further steps to the gate entrance of the cottage.
Explore
Guests have access to the esplanade and shoreline where you can explore and enjoy the views and even catch glimpses of local wildlife.
Arthur's Seat is the perfect base to explore the Cowal Peninsula. You will find the nearest pub and restaurant 200 yards from your cottage, and a local shop only 150 yards away. The township of Dunoon is only a 10 minute drive offering a selection of coffee shops, craft shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants.
Visit local attractions including the Benmore Botanic Gardens, Argyll Forest Park, and historic Kilmun. The region is filled with places to see and things to do. The area is one big outdoor playground. Take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more. Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll's Secret Coast, take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart, or visit historic Inveraray. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
