I have stayed at Villia Vanisia now for a total of 6 weeks over the course of 3 different visits during the past 4 years. I rent villas all over Italy, and I can honestly say that Villa Vanisia is my favorite. The villa itself is exquisite, decorated with antiques and full of warmth and character. The kitchen is spacious and very well-equipped, which is rare for Italian villa rentals. The owners are incredible and beautiful people, eager to assist. When any problems arise, the issue is dealt with promptly. The location is ideal for both exploring Catania as well as Etna. I can't say enough good things about this property! I can't wait until my next visit!

We spent a week here with our family (17 people total, ages 2-75) and could not have had a better time. The villa is stunning and has one beautiful room after another! The views are breathtaking and the grounds themselves are so well taken care of. Its private and feels very safe and secure. The air conditioners in each room worked very well (important for us Americans who love their AC) and having a separate bathroom/shower for each room was a must.If you want a beautiful rustic villa with endless amounts of charm - this is your place. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Delightful

The property was well appointed and equipped. Very clean with great views plenty of space for our party of 7 ranging in age from 9 to 76. Daniella is an excellent host and responds quickly. AC units worked very well. I would strongly recommend this property

Fabulous

We arrived at Villa Vanisia and didn’t want to leave! The house has so many beautiful spaces for togetherness and alone time. One of us water painted. Others read books. The athletes used the gym. Pool games and card games occurred. We loved the pool and hot tub. All of the bedrooms are fabulous and most have en-suite bathrooms. Our hosts Daniela and Luigi were gracious. They provided a crib and changing table for the baby. I highly recommend the pizza guy, Attilio, who came and got that forno going. And we had Glenda prepare us an Italian dinner. We are already trying to figure out how/when we can go back.

A Villa with Views

My family and I stayed in this beautiful villa for a week in June, we never got tired of the stunning sea views! The garden is incredible, in full bloom and well taken care of. The pool was the perfect spot to relax all day. The villa has plenty of room, including the main house and two separate bedrooms and baths, perfect for sharing with a big group. There’s even a huge movie room and pool table downstairs! While the space was amazing, the best part of this villa is the owner and caretaker, Daniela. She made sure we had everything we needed and responded to requests very fast. She helped with recommendations and scheduling activities and meals. We did appreciate having multiple cars here, as you do need to drive to get to places. Mille grazie, Daniela!

Beautiful Villa with an amazing view

From the moment we arrived and greeted by the owner Daniela we were made to feel so welcome. Daniela went above and beyond in making us feel at home and was the perfect hostess, helping us with everything from arranging transport, shopping and the chef for pizza. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations with a view from the infinity pool that is breathtaking. We had everything we could need and happily spent days at the villa enjoying the facilities. Car hire is recommended to aid getting out and about as it is a little remote, though it is only a 15 minute walk up to the grocers, butchers, fishmonger and pistacherrie at Ficarazzi. A truly wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Daniela. Our booking experience through VRBO was appalling and VRBO customer service totally lacking and woeful.

Wat een geweldige vakantie hebben wij gehad! Het huis was alles wat we ons konden wensen en meer. Alles is aanwezig om je verblijf tot een topvakantie te maken. De foto’s liegen niet: het is in werkelijkheid nog mooier. De faciliteiten zijn zo uiteenlopend: van een bbq tot een zwembad en van een pooltafel tot een jacuzzi en nog veel meer. We waren met onze familie en alle generaties hebben zich vermaakt: van jong tot oud. Maar wat het verblijf extra speciaal maakte, was de gastvrijheid van de eigenaresse. Zij doet er werkelijk alles aan om haar gasten een fijn verblijf te bezorgen. Ze denkt mee, geeft tips en is altijd bereikbaar. Ik heb nu al heimwee…

One week in paradise

Es war wirklich wie nach Hause kommen. Das Haus ist so zauberhaft wie seine Gastgeber. Überall nette Ecken, so konnte man sich als Großfamilie auch mal zurückziehen. Die Jugendlichen genossen den Billardtisch und die kleineren Kinder den Pool. Wohnzimmer, Küche und alle Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war alles da. Von wunderschönem Geschirr über alle Kochutensilien bis hin zur Grundausstattung mit Tee und Kaffee. Die Aussicht von Terrasse und Pool ist phänomenal. Daniela und Luigi kümmerten sich jederzeit um alles, was wir brauchten. Danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften. Wir werden wiederkommen!

An incredible paradise

I've rented villas all over Sicily and Villa Vanisia is overall the best experience I've ever had. In addition to being a stunning property, Daniela and Luigi are kind and thoughtful hosts. As a chef, a functional kitchen is important, the Villa Vanisia's is the best equipped I've experienced. A perfect property.
