We did not stay. The property advertised with photo of a beautiful sandy beach not there!!!! We made a poor choice as we are in our 80’s and this is an isolated home. Nothing to walk to ,needed to take a cab everywhere . Just not appropriate for our age group but biggest disappointment was the beach and ability to walk on it and swim. Property had a lovely veranda and view of ocean .Host was very pleasant. House could use some updates no amenities offered as in shampoo or kitchen salt pepper . Most guest travelling along way to get there and not able to bring big items like shampoo hand lotion etc.

Charming secluded getaway in perfect location

We liked the original features of the sea facing Villa. Both apartments 4 and 5 in this shared villa are identical in layout with no. 4 on the ground floor. They each have very spacious rooms. The villla is in a superb location with direct access to an exclusive sandy bay, great for swimming and lounging with privacy. You have all the facilities you need indoors and for the beach/water. It's also really easy to spend time on the shaded terrace facing on to a lovely lawn with great views of the sea. The lack of soundproofing from the upstairs apartment is the one downside which makes your stay subject to the courtesy and respect of your neighbours. The two staff who look after the property were very kind and helpful and remain unobtrusive. The en-suite bathrooms and kitchen are a little basic in style and dated but you have everything you need. Good airconditioning and excellent wi-fi. We enjoyed the villa for its originality, sense of history, privacy and direct access to the sea. Was easy to bus to Holetwown (a 10 minute ride) but we also liked the low-key local bars and shops in the vicinity, which allowed us to holiday without a car and stay out of the tourist drag. Is a very memorable place to stay and a fantastic alternative to the high end hotels and villas along this exclusive stretch of the coast.
