A charming house from the first half of the 19th century, situated on a subdivided farm in an idyllic summer setting in northern Öland. A very beautiful setting with rustic buildings in a lovely, lush garden within the open Öland agricultural landscape around Marsjö. It’s just a 5-minute drive to Öland’s famous coastal road, which winds from Byrum down to Äleklinta, offering magnificent views of the Kalmarsund strait. Popular swimming coves, restaurants, and other attractions can be found in Djupvik and Sandvik, also just a 5-minute drive away. There’s also a supermarket in Sandvik. The surrounding area offers perfect natural settings for birdwatching and pleasant walks, and every evening you can enjoy the wonderful sunset from the house’s west-facing terrace. If you’re looking for more activity, Borgholm and Köpingsvik are 22 kilometres away, and Löttorp is 18 kilometres away.

The house has 4 bedrooms with 6 beds and the option for 2 extra beds. Living room with a sleeper sofa and a common area/family room. Dining room and large kitchen with modern amenities. our stay in öland

the host is super nice and welcoming, the house was great, even a little big for a family of four, it is perfectly equipped and the location is amazing with a supermarket, beach and other entertainment stuff very close by and good to reach via car. We had a great time in the countryside and would definitely recommend a visit. Although it was a bit expensive it had everything you need and more, like a very big DVD collection, board games and nice living space.

Perfect Spot

Went smoothly from check in to check out. Home is dreamy, with historical buildings all around. We particularly loved the thick original walls, which means our kids could play with the instruments in one room, and adults could have a decent conversation in the next. And Bevin was all over everything we needed. Would love to stay here again.

Charmig old house with lots of character

Charmig house with everything you need. We were 6 adults and one child , there was plenty of room to get together but at the same time possibilty for privacy and peace and quiet. Nice patio on the back were we sat in the evening and had our dinner and breakfast in the morning. Love the hens. Easy access to beach, shopping and historical location. And Bevin and Jane were excellent hosts, Thank you for our stay we look forward coming back.

Family vacation

We were two families with a total of eight. Kids and teens between 7 and 19. Every one had a nice comfy bed to sleep in. The kitchen was nice and well equipped with everything you can think of. The back side porch was really nice at evenings to enjoy a barbecue during the sunset. The surroundings are nice and quiet. It felt like you were living somewhere in the savanna with the low trees and the open landscape. The host, Devin, welcomed us and made sure we had a great stay.

Mysigt hus med plats för många!

Läget strax norr om Borgholm passade oss bra, och boendet alldeles utmärkt. Gammalt hus med kringbyggd gård, välutrustat kök och bra med sovplats för en stor familj. Värdarna Bevan och Jane fanns nära tillhands och hade ett trevligt bemötande. Ett toppenboende!
