This was the most beautiful place at the perfect location. The home was spacious and very clean. The balcony over the sea was our favorite place to be. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

Our apartment in Sorrento was fantastic. It was located in the Marina Grande in front of the beach and restaurants and with the view of Pompeii in the background. Absolutely magical, especially at sunset.The apartment was clean, chic and comfortable and will definitely be coming back again.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Marina Grande in Sorrento. Felt like a little piece of heaven, great restaurants nearby and only a 10-15 minute walk to the main area of Sorrento. This location was perfect for us, felt like a local. Views were breathtaking, the pictures do not do it justice. Would stay here again, although there were more stairs than expected to get to the apartment.

This was a charming property right on the smaller of the marinas in Sorrento. It was relatively quiet and peaceful and a quick walk to the center of Sorrento. The balcony was a lovely place to have coffee in the morning. There is a small market nearby as well. Pack light…lots of stairs up to the flat! Also know that many flats in Italy are managed by property agencies, so you may be communicating with many people for one listing, which can be a bit confusing. The agency also arranged our pickup in Naples and tour of Pompeii and did this on short notice as our travel changed at the last minute! Very appreciative.

Beautiful view and location was in a quiet area but still had restaurants and a small market. It was roomie enough for our party of 4, but only had one restroom. The walls and windows were thin, so we could hear outsiders, but it was quiet until the sun came up. One reason we chose the property was because of the washer and dryer, but we couldn’t get the dryer part of the machine to work…property had brief directions and the manager couldn’t help either…tried YouTube, ChatGPT, and TikTok and had no luck. We ended up laying out our wet clothes. On the 4th floor with no elevator.

We loved this place in Marina Grande. The place was just on the outskirts of Sorrento right next to the water. It was a perfect beach house for summertime. For us, we loved our walks into town every day. The apartment was absolutely lovely, although there were a lot of stairs to get to it. It added to the charm and views from our windows! Our host was communicative and responsive throughout the whole process. We would happily stay there again!

Apartment is so cute with a rooftop terrace area plus balcony off the main rooms. View of Marina Grande with Mount Vesuvius. There are four flights of stairs to climb but we didn’t mind for the view. Only criticism is the layout of the bathroom being accessed by having to walk through the kitchen is a little inconvenient. Good restaurants and a convenience store right outside the building. Bit of a walk / climb to get to Piazza Tasso main market area but we didn’t mind. Host company, Sorrento Vibes was very helpful with transfers from Naples, restaurant recommendations and making reservations.

We loved the roof top balcony and another balcony outside of our bedroom that we could look out over the water and watch the local fishermen. It has a beach very close to the front door - just walk across a small road!

Beautiful view of Mt. Vesuvius from the balcony. Apartment was clean and bright. Communication via text messaging their Whats App with the property rep was adequate and timely, though we never met him in person. The check in process was seamless using the instruction manual that was texted to us by the property rep. Getting to the property from the marina was an adventure due to all the steps and turns in the roads (next time we'll look into getting a taxi). We enjoyed our stay in Sorrento.

Breathtaking Home Away from Home

The only way I can summarize this location in one word is, breathtaking. Not only the views speak for themselves, but the location is cozy, comfortable and spacious. There are a few flights of steps to get up to the private apartment, so those who have a walking disability beware. But if you can deal with it, my family on this stay did not want to leave. You are greeted by beaches, a port and amazing restaurants. Quiet and beautiful, I highly recommend if you love being on the water as much as my family does.

Beautiful room and fantastic location

The apartment is very nicely finished and very clean. The sofa bed was the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever slept on. The views are oceanfront and endless. The area is pretty cool with a handful of restaurants and bars. Not much else in the immediate area. About a 15-minute walk uphill to get into town. The only issue is there was no light in the hallway. You needed to use a phone flashlight at night.

The agent Sorentovibes was good in all communication and organising aspects. However, the accommodation was not as we would have expected. Although the lounge and bedroom was of a good standard, the kitchen and shower/bathroom left a lot to be desired. The shower really needs refurbishing completely. The kitchen is fairly antique and not worthy of a property at this price point. Hence the star rating given. If it was possible to give a star rating of 5 for Sorentovibes I would have. But for the property it should be 0 stars!

Clean and bright

We enjoyed the property…it was sparkling clean, the view was great and it met our needs. It is a bit of a hoof to get to the main part of Sorrento, but if you don’t mind walking it is doable. We went in the off season, so only one restaurant at the marina was open, which was a bit of a bummer. The property host was late in arriving to meet us for check in, which was inconvenient, as we had to wait almost an hour for his arrival. He did try to help us via whatsapp with self check-in, but gave us the wrong code to get in. He eventually figured out the right one, but it was confusing at best. Overall, the place was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Not so much…..

-no mention of being on the 4th floor and not having an elevator. -the shower leaks everywhere. -not allowed to wash towels or sheets. -no instructions in English for the washer/dryer. -no key was left to keep the electric on while we were out, so it was always sweltering hot when we came back to the unit.

It's all about the view!

This place was exactly as pictured and described, it was simple and clean and had amazing air conditioning which was much needed in the Italian summer heat! The apartment is up a few flights of stairs (no elevator if traveling with lots of luggage), which leads to amazing views of the marina, Mt. Vesuvius and the surrounding area. 2 doors in living room and in bedroom open to the balcony and there is also a private rooftop area where you can eat or sunbath which also has the great view. There are many restaurants below but the noise was not an issue, it quieted down after 11 and if you shut the doors it was not bothersome. There is a small grocery store in the marina to get snacks/drinks to fill the fridge. Be aware that to get out of the marina you need to take a taxi (which can be pricey for tourists) or climb quite a few stairs to get to the city area at the top. Bring cash for taxi's and excursions as they are not equipped for credit cards mostly. The owner has a vacation touring service (Sorrento Vibes) and I was able to book some excursions and transportation to and from the airport with him which was very helpful (again bring cash). All in all the place was amazing and I would definitely stay again! Thanks Andrea and Raffaele.

We enjoyed our time here immensely! The host was excellent and the location perfect! We only had a slight issue finding the spot to locate the parking attendants. It appears you will enter the ZTL and a one way road, but you turn quickly. Highly recommend this location, villa, and host. Thank you for a wonderful time! Very clean with unbelievable views!
